Character-Action FPS excellence.

It looks pretty, but it's so boring, even on hard.

Once you turn the cringe voice volume to 0, the game becomes playable, but it didn't start being fun. Core movement mechanics feel weak compared to contemporary games, and overall presentation is trying a bit too hard.

they added a non-BR mode and it's pretty cool

Punishing and surreal describe both the gameplay and the setting. It's unique even among its contemporaries at the time, and very refreshing to revisit. I can easily see how this can be so many people's favorite game.

Like xcom but lame

Basic, but serviceable.
