Story - 9/10 would be 10/10 but story is shorter then I would like because it was good
Art and Design - 10.10 Amazing
Gameplay - 8/10
Performance - 10/10

I can't even begin to explain how beautiful this game is.
Just finished the story and it's unbelievable.

The story had me thrilled. it was a beautiful story that developed nicely in my opinion and had a lovely ending. I'd give the story an 9/10. Why? Because for as great of game this is... the story is fairly short. easily completable in a day or weekend no problem. Don't get me wrong, I DEFINITELY think one should get this game and I think the price is about right for what you get although others may have different opinions on that so if you feel the story is to short for the price then wait for a sale but do eventually grab it.

the art and design are amazing. especially the world around you. it's so beautiful and the soundtrack to go with it is perfect. everything just kinda flows nicely and everything looks beautiful. 10/10

Gameplay is... definitely not bad... but nothing revolutionary or anything. it's a pure story driven game, casual game. there's no fighting or enemies or anything like that and falling off a ledge just spawns you back up where you were, it's understandable in a way though as more resources were spent in other places to make them stellar and it shows. 8/10. Why? camera movement isn't perfect. it's 100% playable with little problems. I played with a controller so that may also make a difference too but the camera can get a bit wonky at times. quick clip threw a wall or something like that, nothing big, and some animals you control are a bit wonky to control as well. nothing serious or anything but I wouldn't mind if a bit more time was spent in that department, however, not all animals are like that. in fact, most control just fine, it's just occasionally an animal seems a bit off or something. the hummingbird for example, not bad but the overall movement of the hummingbird could have been better or tweaked.

Performance is borderline perfect. the desert area gave me some dips in fps but nothing bad or problematic. I'm running older hardware (970 and i5-4670k) and had 0 problem running at max settings 1080p 60fps (though I didn't keep track of the fps but it felt very smooth so...) 10/10 confident that this game could run on a potato, maybe an overclocked potato.

I backed this game on kickstarter like 3 years ago just cause it looked neat and might be fun but I never expected it to be this good and amazing. I would buy this game for myself 3 times over just to have it on every platform I play on and grab a copy for every friend just so they could play it too if I could.

A solid 10/10 despite it's shortcomings.

Beat the game, had a blast. scarriest game I've played in a LONG time. thought I'd give madhouse a go thinking "I got this, I know where all the scares are and shouldn't be too bad besides it being a bit harder"

NOTHING IN THE SAME PLACE, EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED, LIMITED SAVING, END MONSTER JUMPED OUT AT ME AT THE BEGINING OF THE GAME...

ESC - END

HAVEN'T TOUCHED IT SINCE.

10/10 would s**t my pants again

it's nice to be playing skyrim again. and despite several problems, I still recommend this game because it's an amazing game.

TL:DR at bottom

First off, disabling achievements when using mods... REALLY. makes me sad BUT as much as I want to use the unofficial patch, I can live without it. I did with my xbox 360 and I did for quite a while when I got it on pc and was a modding noob. BUT give thanks to the modding community because there is already a mod that re-enables achievements with mods on nexus but I have not tried it yet. google if you can't find it

People are complaining about performance problems and while some may be true. I have no problems on an 15 haswell CPU and a 970 maxed settings WITH GODRAYS turned to medium. my gpu hated fallout 4 with godrays and it doesn't like it now, though to be honest it wasn't bad with them maxed constant 60 with occasional dips into 50s maybe 40s - 30s depending on where I'm looking but with godrays on medium, solid 60 (at least I didn't notice any dips and with bethesda games, you can REALLY notice even a 2FPS drop). if you're having problems, try lowering godrays first. it's not that important anyways, just semi-cool light shines from the sun.

I could tell the textures were sharper than the original similar to the high res DLC but maybe a bit better? (not sure) and more floral and better trees and whatnot make it look pretty nice and the water is quite nice too and it now has 64bit and DX11 support so bigger better mods possibly. now you could do better (possibly a LOT better) with mods on the original but not wanting to load mod after mod with tweaking here and and there and whatnot spending probably a couple of days getting all the mods loaded correctly and working, this is a nice alternative. plus it gets other gamers who may not have been able to play skyrim when it initially came out (cause too young or no money for system or something) a chance to play the amazing game.

Overall I'm glad to be back in skyrim exploring and doing quests. as far as I'm aware you can transfer save data from the original skyrim on pc but I choose to start new for achievements and such.

Have game companies done better remasters of there games then bethesda did on skyrim? yes
could bethesda have done better? yes
is it a bad remastered game? no, I don't think so

TL:DR
Disabling achievements when using mods :( but there's a mod for that ;)

performance was fine on my rig. having problems? try not using godrays if the fps isn't where you want it other then that, not sure

DX11 and 64bit support plus Textures are nice but were better with mods on the original. but this way you don't have to spend time loading all the mods

I will thoroughly enjoy replaying this amazing game again
