Early Access Review
I was introduced into this game as someone who is not really familiar with drone games or flight games in general. I'll have to admit that it took me a bit of time to get accustomed to the controls of the kamikaze drone(for the most part), when using a gamepad. However, it has been a, generally speaking, fun experience to me since day 1.
Here's my sum on this game thus far:
- Single player offers a variety of missions in different type of environments and scenarios.
- Multiplayer has co-op and pvp modes as well. The co-op is reminding you of mode/modes from the single player missions and the pvp has a mode that is pretty much Team Deathmatch and another one that is a Domination one, that you have to capture the most flags/points to achieve victory.
- The atmosphere surrounding the game is realistic like and emerges you into a battle like scenario as a fpv drone operator and a soldier on foot as well. Sounds are surprisingly good enough and the scenery is not blunt.
rep+
- As for the issues that the game is facing.
A lot of crashes happen after periods of time in multiplayer matches. Your character can get stuck in places that you can't get yourself out of, unless someone kills you.
Connection issues and ping flunctuations are a relatively common thing. I, sometimes, have also had issues with the thermal vision on the spectator mode in multiplayer matches(it won't engage). All in all those are the bigger ones.
- A few future aspirations
Controls wise, I'd like to have some more eligibility when it comes to button mapping and the ability to use triggers for the kamikaze, seperated.
More maps could be added in the future for the multiplayer section and perhaps gun/guns for when you are on foot.(the game gives you a knife only, so you can't really defend yourself from the drones)
A faster movement speed for the striker drone would be more optimal. More ammo crates for it would be a nice addition as well.
To conclude, if you feel like trying this game out, go for it. I would personally suggest trying it. It has been a nice time killer for me and its a game that sets itself apart from the rest.

We are approaching 2024, 10 years post game release and Assetto Corsa is still holding up reallly well. The community has helped extent its potential and broaden its capabilities.
You can always find something that will get you involved with this game. Whether that's testing car/track combos, setting up sessions with bots, online events, occupied with modding yourself or trying to make the game look more real life like by using filters that come with CSP, Reshade or even Nvidia Freestyle.
Assetto Corsa at this point, can offer you a very complete, generally speaking, driving/racing and fun experience.

If you are looking for some GT car racing this is probably your best choice. You can choose between a gt3 car that is older gen and new gt cars from the latest era(2022 and onwards). As a matter of fact a new championship, the 2022 one, has been added with the latest update. There's also gt4 cars that you can race on, coming with dlcs, and more, such as the Ferrari 488 gt3 challenge evo, the bmw m2 cs racing version and the list goes on.
The physics are very true to what real gt racing feels like and the devs are working very closely with the teams/brands to produce an as close as it can get 1:1 picture.
There's a variety of tracks(with dlc you'll get a track from almost any continent). The attention to detail can be observed at those tracks. Such could be the draining rails on kyalami or the bumps and sausages on Zolder.
Updates come and go and 90% of the time they are quite meaningful(having to do with gameplay/bugs/ui etc).
If you are looking into more serious racing there are also leagues that you can take part. Some of the daily ones can be found at the LowFuelMotorsport site and on the pitskill.io site. You can participate weekly on some leagues that you can find on SimGrid,SRO and lots of other sites.
All in all, acc gives you the experience of a polished gt car racing sim that is being refined at its next updates and taken seriously.
