This game sucks. I like it.

There's a distinct lack of level variety (beaches, ships, caves, sometimes a jungle or a port town) but it's really fun, it's got some really neat unique mechanics, and the music and general aesthetics go insane.

I like the idea of this game a lot and wish it had more going on, but updates are slow and usually not that major, the game is still very far from being finished and is extremely light on content, and the community just isn't big enough for this game to be the best version of itself. Obviously giving it a poor review will only help stunt it's growth, thus making the problems worse, but I'm not gonna lie, it has a far way to go, even though I think there's a ton of potential. If you like the idea enough to have faith and possibly push it further in that direction, go for it, but if you're expecting an active community and lots of content, you're not gonna get that, at least not right now.

It's smooth, it's fun, it's addicting, and you feel cool playing it. After you beat it you'll go back and 100% it. After you 100% it you'll go back and run through the levels again just because the game is fun. After you do that you'll just grapple around the hub because it's fun. The game is fun, it's that simple.

Final boss, however, isn't that fun, but that's only one small part of the game.

Just janky and buggy in a way that immediately makes the experience unfun in the first 5 minutes. And the last update was in early 2021 so I don't see that changing.

I heard the launch was terrible, but after a few updates I bought it and have had a good time with it. Not doing any DLSS or ray-tracing, maybe that has more issues, but a regular run of the game works pretty well. Only a few spots where there were issues, and reloading a recent checkpoint almost always did the trick.

Some of it may be from me using an HDD when a SSD is recommended, but the game is totally playable on HDD if you're willing to compromise a little (textures set to medium, occasionally the game will pause for a few seconds to load, once in a blue moon cutscene audio will be delayed by half a second, stuff like that)

Also it was very consumer friendly of them to make most of the digital deluxe DLC suits absolutely uggo so I don't have to buy it.

Bought a guitar, spent a half hour practicing my own song on it, walked up to a random person on the docks minding their business, serenaded them, got a "noice" in response, and jumped into the ocean.

Wonderful experience.

Just stay away from the Steam Discussions, there's a lot of stupid identity wars going on in there (and I mean that literally, it's petty losers on both sides arguing about in-game titles)

This game has spent 5+ years being a paid demo. It's buggy and it's very light on content. It'd be a good game if it ever gets finished, and I *want* to see that happen, but realistically, nothing has convinced me we'll ever get another update, let alone one that isn't just a reworking of what's already there, followed by 3 years of silence, and then maybe another reworking of what's already there. If anyone is considering buying, it's only fair they know what they're spending their money on.

It's a cute, short, relatively easy escape room game. You can beat it in probably 45 minutes, but it's a good time regardless.
