Loving the game so far, there are a few things I miss tho, I miss the castle, I miss having a central depo where everything comes from the boat is cool but I would love to be able to build a main castle that stores everything like settlers, and then use the store houses for spot specific storage closer to borders or resource nodes.

The game is missing a really good long story mission mode, I hope they add this before release, the custom map could use some work to allow some fine tweaking of the values like quantity of resources and stuff.

Some of the map world gen has given me maps that don't have any key resources any where near spawn which made clearing the map impossible, like zero lime, or zero metal which felt bad.

I think each map should have a single resource node of each type that has infinate amount inside it just make sure it does not spawn near spawn, so 1 pure iron node, 1 pure stone, lime, copper etc hidden on each map for us to find, this will add a lot more playtime to each map and stop us from just running out of resources bringing the map to an end.

The combat needs a little work, not sure if its visible or not yet but I think soldiers that earn kills should get stronger and level up, I had some rubbish rng and watched a scrub slaughter a bunch of full plate soldiers it felt real bad.

Are you kidding me ? the new map is actually paid dlc ? Im so done with this game and the developer, should have stuck with the modded version :/

This game has so much potential, but sadly due to totally broken mechanics at this point I would not recommend it to anyone.

Based on how ARK is now after all this time I actually do not think the dev's will solve the issues here, it's meant to be a Pirate game, what it really is , is a game about offline raiding land bases and using a broken claim flag system to take everything whole companies have built over night without them being able to stop you.

This game had so much promise, sadly it's not going a good route and the exploration and crafting is so limited that it's only around an hour or 2 worth of gameplay before youv seen and done it all.

The story is looking better but the end game is a mess thankfull its not finished yet but its close. hope they fix it.
Wont be recommending this to anyone until things improve.

New content is looking really good.
