Larry had a little lamb, with fleece as white as snow;

And everywhere that Larry went, his lamb was sure to go!

He loved him more than anything, even more than he did himself;

With him he was the richest man, accrued the greatest wealth!

He found him unexpectedly, for he thought that he was done;

Disbanded flocks from long ago, had passed or away had run!

But the day this lamb came to his side, and showered him with love;

He knew he’d met the “kindred” one, sent down from up above!

And on that day their souls would bond, forever to be mates;

With one thing only on their mind, each other’s needs to sate!

For many years they trod the earth, together they would roam;

And then return in victory, to their very happy home!

But then one day his lamb got ill, and two days later had part;

He kissed his little lamb goodbye, and with him went his heart!

Now he walks the paths alone, so saddened every day;

Now Larry has no little lamb, for he had to go away!
