There are things in this game called cursed objects.
I found one called the cursed mirror that lets u see what the ghost sees at the cost of your sanity.
I decided to use it at the front door cuz ill be able to make a quick escape if there is a hunt... cuz im scare

Look into mirror, see me looking into mirror from feet away from me.
Scream.
Hunt starts.
Die.

All in around 3 seconds.
