Early Access Review
Ok as someone who has spent a good 1k + hours over the course of a year (almost two) of playing this game, being on the moderation team, finding out how the tanks tick and how the game works. I can hopefully write a more objective view of the game as I've been with it when it was only a month old. So, here's my review.

PROS: HEAVILY expands upon the parent game that inspired it, it has garnered a quite large following that grows everyday.

The community is nice and respects one another, the moderation on the discord is relaxed due to this quite friendly community.

The updates are plenty and happen in large batches of content, assisting with the project (be it money or being an active helping hand or even just chatting) nets you various rewards. Access to the Beta test version of the game, your own tank skin, custom crosshairs, whacky codes, etc.

Chooky commits to his community VERY well, and responds to ideas and plays around with the regulars in VC and in the general chat of our discord server as well as interact with the beta members and participates in his community that he built from the ground up.

The game is fun and addictive, it has content and allows for content creation, with recent updates expanding upon this concept of creation of content or earning it via achievements, supporting the project, or the soon to be shop.

Now... the cons... (sorry chooky)

The game can be bug filled sometimes and people have had various reports of not even being able to play, such things are common in early access games be beware that you MIGHT have to live with a bug for a while until Chooky fixes it

Chooky as of now is a single dev, while that isn't bad, and in fact is commendable, he's not perfect, at times, especially with heavy content updates, progress may be slow, it's common to go without an update for a few months. While this certainly IS commendable how he pushes content out super fast, it's also worrying as bugs can slip through the cracks due to the only real way we can catch them is via the support of the discord.

The community as of now is very small, and there is no multiplayer as of yet, so if you're looking to meet a LOT of people or even have one of those large MMO experiences even when multiplayer comes out? You might want to sit tight, we don't have much reach in the grand scale of things despite our quite large growth at the moment, we're hoping steam gives us a good boost in player numbers.

Of course, MOST of the cons come down to just issues any early access indie title struggles with. But, we can largely circumvent MOST of the those issues by just... having fun and supporting the project, just being in the community fixes the last issue, if you offer your skills, and contribute, not only do you assist with the 2nd issue, but you can bring to light changes YOU want and assist in the making of this game. Along with that, we're also happy to have various talent in our discord that we can utilize to make MOST of these issues less painful to deal with.

To sum it up, Wee Tanks is a great small title worth it's investment, the game is growing and content is being made, we consider community suggestions and if you are happy to help we will be ever grateful and we even reward large contributions with stuff like beta access and skins in game and other various rewards. I am proud to be apart of this community, and will be sticking with it firmly.

This is literally the only game where you can ride a unicorn whilst shooting a shark gun while wearing the armor of spiders and at the same time, killing two giant floating eyeballs while your NPCs talk about their life while you die in agony. 10/10 Would die to the same dart trap 11 times again.
