I think the storyline and gameplay was very tedious. It didn't really surprise me that this was a hit.

Who tf cares about JK Rowling. JK Rowling may have created this franchise for us. But just f her and the haters of this game

The only thing that matters is the actual game itself and the developers which they seem to put lots of work into this game especially throughout the pandemic. I would say this is a pretty good game overall. Better than the ea Harry Potter games

My Overview Of This Game
I personally think this is a mediocre game in the franchise. Having since played and owned borderlands 2 since its release, I was shocked to find out that this game was coming back then. Despite me wanting it on my Xbox 360 previously, I lost interest as time passed on. Eight years later, I bought the game alongside borderlands 2 because there was a sale for $15. Speaking of the game I'll be explaining the takeaways and drawbacks of this game.

Takeaways
Starting with the positive side of the game, it's pretty cool just to see how the campaign went through. Playing as familiar characters in the pre-sequel was a bit strange at first but it seems like you've been playing an existing character. There were no custom characters that represented each class. It was all from scratch and you would have to make it your own. The story was very good and I got to experience how Jack was the villain the whole time throughout the end when other characters saw his corruption in the vault.

Drawbacks
Things I don't like about the game:
  • It's kinda short compared to Borderlands 2 (from what I remember)
  • Bosses are very difficult around the end
  • Too many irrevelant side quests

In my opinion, I feel like this game should have been a bit more diverse when it comes to missions that you're assigned to. It reminds me of a bit of gta v online since it's a shared open world game. The events are a bit bland, and the only awards you receive is mainly gold. Which is common for most missions in those settings, I just feel like this game needs to have more certain unique events for players to interact with. Including the addition of another original story just like battlefield 1, that would be making it more fun for players.

Now I'm saying that this review is just a way for the developers to use this feedback to improvise features for this game. I'm not really hating or disliking the game, just giving out better suggestions for it to improve. Although I've seen negative reviews on steam generally, some of them I've seen are pretty unethical and inappropriate. Like negative reviews that say: "LOL", "Thought you were playing against other ships but you never are, this game sucks.", "general grievous dabs”, “i like gwent” or etc. These reviews are negative without any appropriate details and usually tends to defraud the game just because people are toxic af.

Although I do love this game, but I feel like it should get improvements after you guys look at this review.

This game is a masterpiece tabletop RPG.
It seems that this game is unique in its own form of experience. The narrating and animations made the game very interesting which didn't really seem to make it boring. Unless if you're having a difficult time doing quests then it's tedious. Overall, I would suggest this if you are interested in a game that features a work of art.

I hopefully want ZA/UM would expand this type of ip into TV Shows, sequels, spin-offs, merch etc.

I would recommend this indie game. It makes you explore things (caves) that are pretty unique in it's own nature.
