It's bland, lackluster, and over hyped. A lot of cool concepts in it sure but everything else waters it down.

Refunded the product, waiting for a sale and for the multiplayer servers to actually work.

It DOES get me hard thinking of what ARMA4 will be like though. The roadmap shows destruction and helicopters are planned I'll probably pick it up then (please fix multiplayer). Consider doing a sale though when you do guys.. that player count is effin loooooow.

EDIT: Game is playable, no longer disconnected every 30 minutes. Played in 100 player server for 7 hours and 20 minutes.

Never really was interested in running tanks in most games I played, me and my buddy have been playing armor pretty heavily and enjoying every second of it. We had 3 of us in the discord, and set up a squad and it filled up so we split up into all the tanks with teams of two, a driver and a gunner. We linked up with the infantry at the middle objective and yelled out for them to follow us. We were in a line formation driving forward dumping every gun we had at the tree line that was heavily defended, they were struggling prior to us showing up, within minutes we ran a blitzkrieg on them while blasting Rammstein over the discord bot... God it was like a movie, you could see them falling back and crawling for cover in the treeline. Our troops rushed in on foot and gunned down the remnants laying scattered under logs and bushes cowering from the massive amounts of suppressing fire we rained down on them. Even if they got an AT got their rockets off, they were shook so bad that they'd miss or hit right in front or way off target.. We felt like gods, like we had changed the course of history for our team.

Infantry is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blast.. theres nothing more exciting than sneaking up on a trench line full of guys with their backs turned and two grenades on your belt knowing damn well you're going to blow them all sky high. One time we were pinned down on a road, our garrison was down the road from theres and we were killing each other there for probably 20 minutes, I ended up crawling close enough to see there garrison in the foggy distance next to a haypile covered in snow. I heard our MG's start dumping everything they had and without hesitating I started sprinting and threw a nade on the opposite side of the street from their garrison and blew up a couple dudes I was literally within arms reach of the garrison and.. I did it, right before I took that bullet I saw "Enemy Garrison Destroyed." We pushed through that road, captured the next objective and held out with the timer and won.. nobody really saw what I did, but I know what I did for them.. I sacrificed myself for something much bigger than myself.

In short/tl;dr, this game will have you feeling like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hero, or a villain. o7 see you on the field.

EDIT 1: Someone on my friends list who praised Post Scriptum and laughed at HLL finally caved and bought the game. lol

This is where it all began.. Not sure how many hours this account has on this mod but I invested so much time into this game and met so many cool people. The custom maps, staying up all night playing in the same server listening to everyone talk on the mic and for the most part get along and be good sports about whatever happened, having 1v1s while people stood around and watched to study the fight and use the moves they learned when it was their turn to fight and witnessing long sword fights that would go on for over 2 and a half minutes between skilled players.. This game will never be forgotten, with Mordhau releasing tomorrow I'll be thinking of this game and the community, hopefully some of you come back and revisit each other in Mordhau and rekindle those old flames. Who knows maybe you'll run into someone you used to play with on Age of Chivalry/ Medieval Warfare. I feel like there were many people who played this or Chivalry Medieval Warfare that will be moving to Mordhau, this community wouldn't exist if it wasn't for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

Grew up on the source mod when I was younger and my PC broke, fast forward and I got my first summer job, paid under the table. Scraped up enough to put it towards a new rig and didn't know Insurgency was released yet and was so happy and impressed with how far the studio has come, bought the game and played the ♥♥♥♥ out of it and loved it and they did it again.. This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredible and should be played slow, slice the pie on corners always the close quarters combat can be so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chaotic. Highly Recommend, take some time to play Coop and practice if you struggle at first don't be discouraged.

(Bit of a rant)
This game is getting a big following from shroud, one of the worst people to use when showcasing a survival game because he has zero common sense in games like this.

So please try and ignore the mixed reviews lets pretend its mostly positive because these non survival players can't play it they throw a tantrum that they can't be apart of something great, I put just about a day into it with my buddies, can't wait for all the content that's coming to the game.

People are throwing tantrums trying to tell people it has no content, I mean it JUST released a couple days ago on steam to the public, and BEFORE the game even released they focused on servers so everyone could get in to ♥♥♥♥ around and exxplore rather than struggle with constant crashes and disconnects I was surprised that I was able to stay in a server on launch day for an EA game WITHOUT crashing or DCing from the server every time I try to join (If you struggled to get in you probably spent to much time on character creation and didn't fill the slot in time-Server Full-).. they pushed the release back a couple hours so that it wouldn't be an absolute mess and the first day it was out I spent just about the rest of the day exploring and learning the mechanics/crafting.

That alone was fun for me, coming from Tarkov it's nice to find another game where you have to learn, this game isn't for kids or casuals. I was iffy about it and I researched who DevolverDigital is and I was not disappointed or concerned after hearing how they feel about Triple AAA studios companies. You'll be in good hands you just have to put your faith and trust into them, and a little patience. It has bugs and flaws but like I said it JUST came out, I'm giving this a good review because I'm tired of seeing shroud boys talk down on the game because they're clueless and cant play a game that "requires using my brain.." Also the game is cheap, it WILL increase in price as content keeps coming out so even if you pick the game up now and wait a couple weeks or months it would be worth it.

If you're NOT patient or know how EA games work (DayZ Doesn't count they took the money and ran like scam artists) and throw a tantrum every time something goes wrong this game isn't for you personally I haven't had any problems with this game at all other than the Desync/Lag and I killed two kids using a spear and a pistol I threw a spear in one dudes back while he was busy with my buddy and his friend ran off and came back to us chopping his buddy up outside I shot him in the chest once (I beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of him with a spear) he didn't have much fight left in him it was a little messy because the teleporting characters but I kept imagining when it's all smoothed out.

Just want to remind everyone this game is in its infancy and needs patient understanding players to help pave the way. It's a great unique concept that just needs a little more attention from people with actual brains, remember to report those bugs and if you find an exploit report it because if you abuse it you WILL be banned (Devs aren't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about with these kiddies.)

Please... Give it a try BUT before you buy it atleast research the mechanics or watch the Developer Blogs above to really understand the game before you jump in and make a mistake that could have been easily avoided if you watched a video. Really hope this game blows up over the months.. We could use more hardened survival fans.

Great game and loving the concept just wish I could play, in my 25 hours atleast 2 - 3 and a half hours are spent looking for matches... You either end up in a really populated server or an empty one. If you're impatient I wouldn't bother, I'm going to put it down until they get there servers sorted and change the review later, not seeing alot of people bring up the wait times though it's a little ridiculous.
