This is one of the best games you can get on steam, amazing base game, amazing dlcs, great modding community & so much replayability, definitely recommended.

Good fun and fairly intense gameplay so far, I’ll try more over the next few days, beautiful looking, runs incredibly smoothly on my system.

I haven’t experienced a single crash so far, so I would assume it’s hardware incompatibility issues that people are having.

People will enjoy it based on the gameplay and customisation I’ve experienced so far, I’m just hoping it doesn’t get stagnant like helldivers

I have a decent amount of hours now to review this game, and I could honestly say that the game now as it is with the create your own character update is good. There are plenty of hours to be found and played within the game along side with mods that the modding community is releasing, I could only wish that expansion of your realm was more exciting and less repetitive.

I'm hoping for the future that they will release lots more free updates with decent content changes for the game, (Along side the DLC that's definitely going to come) and that they wont fall into the 'DLC everything' path that they did for CK2.

Oh and optimisation for the game is amazing.

This review may change in the future

Highly addictive, clan/house/dynasty building gets you attached to you clan so whenever someone insults or raids you it makes you want to get revenge.

This game is very time consuming in a good way. The developers have worked along time, gone through many concepts and they continue to work on this game with great persistence. If you use Experimental mode you will find out alot of crashes but you will also see new features shown first.

Northgard is beautiful it has a good potential, but its not ready yet, seems to be a lack of customization and freshness atm.

-What I found and what could be improved-

Found no bugs.
AI could be a little smarter.
A bit more diplomacy would help freshen things up.
Maybe customization to the start of a game like what to generate or an option to keep it random.
Drop in frames when scrolling out.
Annoying that a worker has to be in the district to built.

Reign of Kings is a medieval multiplayer sandbox with rich crafting (smelting, foraging, building and hunting.),
a survival of the fittest will you Make your own base to fend off the creatures players,
will you fight to be king to Show your gentle or violent heart off as you rule the kingdom,
leaving your reign amongst the people,
with the base combat system of Chivalry Medieval.

There's so much rp from the community servers no Kos no random grabbing people with rope and running off,
The Kings somtimes make there own rules Like a market no one can or is allowed to kill inside of it and players can make a shop to trade resources so if people live near iron and others live near oil they could trade it.

RoK (Reign of Kings) is Like many games combined together, Life is Feudal : Your own, Chivalry Medieval, Mount and Blade warband, Minecraft, Rust and many more games.

If you like the the Medieval side the PvP side the raid other peoples bases side the Building hunting or any other side,
then I Recommend this game to you.

The Price Can be A Bit too much for people, But saying that the features you get out of the game can be hugh. Their is not as much Roleplaying as would be expected since people either stay away from you or come to kill you.
They're Many places to build but on populated servers you start to see alot of castles, towns and villages in the flatter parts of the map. The last thing I would like to say is the long wait to get into servers can be annoying and when you get into the server it can take hours just to get your skills up to then get your first house up.

This is a Fun Game and can be Alot more enjoyable with friends.

You Can also Make friends as you play if you join their towns.
