Alum is a great and enjoyable game, despite the clear similarities with christian religion (which i didnt mind, its another world with their own believings). It does its work on bringing up the nostalgia for those who played the 90's point&click games.

Each one of the chapters consist on obtaining X item(s) in order to solve the puzzles. And while there is plenty of hints to make your way through, there is no random stuff in order to solve the puzzles, sometimes a lot of trips. If stuck it offers a hint system that can help you solve puzzles without giving direct instructions.

The story is entertaining. The starting chapters felt kind of empty to me, but from 3rd chapter forwar, i found myself immersed. It was an appealing story all through. Also, GOBO.

Overall I would reccomend you to play the game if you enjoy good stories and not-too-cryptic puzzles.
