I met this guy a few years back when I first started playing L4D2. It was just a fun way to spend evenings, teaming up with friends and enjoying the chaos. I soon realized he was a sharp player who thrived on dominating matches with taunts and strategy. At first, it was amusing, and I joined in, learning how to push pubs to their breaking points. What began as playful banter turned into targeted bullying. We hunted the most vulnerable players, seeking the rush of watching them crack or disconnect, children cried in our matches, women hated us, constant accusations of cheating. The thrill became addictive, routine. But one night, after a brutal match that ended with angry messages and silence, I felt the emptiness. The laughter and adrenaline felt hollow. He urged me on, but I saw that we’d become addicted to power and hurting others. I logged off, realizing the game had changed us, especially me. The fun was gone, replaced by regret and a numb silence. 10/10 would play again with!!
