Played since early access. Love the game, just wish we could choose the starting weapon.

Best danged game of all time. Especially with mods and overhaul mods. Personally love masty's l'hiver, or the early acces Eternal.

Started playing on gameepass to see what all the hype is about... And ouh boy... I absolutely suck at the dodge and especially parry mechanic, but loved the story so much that I decided to continue palying on the easiest difficulty. Even bought the game for steam. And then steam cloud saves screws up my save files and now I lost 40h of my save files... time to grind again,

So, I tried the playable taser, first version of the nyras demo and now the updated demo.

The current demo is the best version thus far and I'm starting to be slightly hopeful that this remake might end up being good.

A few things I didn't like.

-The way NPCs pronauncee the name ''Khorinis''

-In combat dodge is on ''alt'' and block parry is on ''ctrl''
Guess I'm just too used to how it was in the original gothic 1 and 2, used to dodge by stepping back and blocking by right mouse, prolly just gonna have to get the habbit for the new combat.

-NPC monsters are too slow to react and move

-Camera dosn't move around with the mouse if standing still, I'd quite prefer if the charecter would turn around with the mouse movements

-When detecting items to interact with and pick up, the actual PCs view is considered, wish it was the camera that was used instead.

-No quicksave/quickload, guessing this is gonna be added in full game

-Can't rebind controlls for some reasson, wanted to bind dodge to ''ctrl'', block to shift and inventory to ''tab'' but couldn't, guessing this will be available in the full game

-I dislike how the UI is, I'd much rather have it imilar to gothic 2, if we click on an item it gets used/consumed and if we press a quick use item number while selecting it it gets assigned to that number.

-Game has mini lag spikes when opening inventory, guess this is gonna be fixed in full release.

-Beat up Ratford for being a bastard, then once I found the dead new camp guy and looted his corpe Ratford straight up charged on me and started attacking me for some reasson

Overall, as I said, I'm slightly hopefull and optimistic that this remake might actually end up being good.

Looks good, has added options, there are already mods that improve the performance of the game and I got a CTD when trying to exit the imperial prison.
A true to form Oblivion experiance 11/10

While the updates are a bit slowish for my taste, it's a very fun game to waste time on if you like the genre.
Interested to see how it evolves in the future.

Good on the asus rog ally extreme.

Quite a fun game albeit simple atm. Quite good to play with your spouse or kids via local coop or in the future online multiplayer.

GG, better then D4 atm
