Unfortunatly the game is alsmost exactly the same as the Beta from last year.
No idea what they were doing but the game sure hasn't improved.

- only 3 Maps
- no new characters, except for Chris's faceless team of morons
- only 1 new creature (not released yet)
- no team mode (yet? got cancled?)

The mode is also pretty und fun to play and not really rewarding. It feels like it's heavily luck based if you spawn near a virus capsule or not. If no, good luck getting into the game withoug getting killed constantly.

I don't get why this is so bad. Comparing this to Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 Versus modes this is an insane downgrad. And the modes in 5 & 6 were only smal side modes with better balance then this.

It's sad to see that Resistans died for this garbage. I rather had the Characters and the costume DLC bought for Resistance. Not investing any money into this for sure. The game was dead on araival anyway...

I wish Neobards that they have more luck in the future, without being bound to Capcom ruining everything with their strang decisions...

This so called Open Beta was a stupid joke.
They should call it RE: Maintenance Simulator 2021

While the game is a disappointment compared to the original PS1 game, it's still an okay and fun game to play.
Although i would only recommend buying it on a sale because it's very short and misses some of the locations from the original.
Graphics from the RE Engine are pretty nice though

The game sure has its problems but it's quite fun to play with friends. If only Capcom would give the game a chance by releasing it stand alone and investing in some anti cheat and bug fixes. But still an unexpected nice game to play i encourage people to try at least.

The Remake has pros and contras.
While the visuals and the gameplay is pretty nice it lacks a lot of details and content compared to the original.
While you had 4 different routes to play in the original with story changes and unique bosse, you only get like 1 1/2 in this remake.

If you don't know the original this sure is a solid game with a nice atmospehre.

Very nice game with a charming art style, lovely characters,
from a very very dedicated developer.
Offers countless hours of content for solo or coop gameplay.
The game is still supported and gets updates even in 2024 - 2025

Still one of my most favorite games to play because of the good coop mechanics
Now finaly with the DLC

Although, unfortunately the port is rather bad compared to the flawless GfWl version.
Region lock, messed up enemy pathfinding and disconnects just to name a few errors that will never get fixed...

it's still a good and fun game to play with friends, but it could have been a LOT better.
Make sure to install "Maluc's fixes".
