I see some complaints in the reviews that I want to address. The game is great, which many of the negative reviews admit.

1. Complaints about the lack of tutorial. The devs have made it clear that they are working on an interactive tutorial. The tutorial in Rivals 1 was the best fighting-game tutorial I've ever experienced, so I'd say they are going to deliver an excellent tutorial in this game as well.

2. Complaints about the in-game shop. At first glance, I didn't like it either, but it's actually done well. Many players expressed the desire to contribute more financially, and this is the perfect way to provide that. For those that don't wish to pay for skins, you can earn them by just playing the game. I personally enjoy the sense of progression this gives the game. Folks are complaining that it takes too long to earn skins. I disagree with this, but regardless they are just skins! You aren't entitled to them, you can play for them or pay for them, but stop whining about prices. No one is forcing you to buy skins. They are completely superfluous

3. Complaints that the game isn't finished. This is absolutely true. The core gameplay is 100% there, but there's limited singleplayer, and there are a few bugs. In my opinion, the game is still worth the money in this state, especially considering the devs are going to be adding content for years to come. Huge AAA games regularly get released less finished than this.

Just a fun, simple, and nostalgic platformer.

Loads of fun and high replay value.
