Have you enjoyed tending the crops?
Enjoyed treating the animals with care and love?
However do you like piloting a big mech that can do those said things for you?
Just play this game and relax just play for fun no real loose situations just relax and panic when the seeds come falling XD

Is it a short game? Yes
Does it give a unique feel to freerunning/parkour? YES
Did it give an awesome way to use a "grapple hook"? GHOSTLY YES

In a longer terms of the game, it's a simple combo into a grapple style game mechanic with "bullet hell" bots to keep you on your toes/in the air, but the fluidity with the traversing elements was there. If you know rocket jumping in tf2 days with wall running like dying light you will enjoy this just not IT IS A SHORT GAME but made quickly though which was amazing I do hope all the best on these devs with this mechanic to come back in the future (or someone to take inspiration maybe turning it into a vr game one day just maybe not to heavy on the grappling)
Just try the game it's free what do you have to loose? 20 mins of your life???

TLDR: make sure looking at last edit date on some reviews because might be angry launch I'm trying to keep my post up to date. The new mechanics are moving nicely, armour is still a bit eh but wait till december if you don't like the current armour choices. If you want more free form payday should still give it a try with each dlc coming out a month apart is showing things are becoming better in time just people always want things instantly.

Pros
New stealth mechanics
new builds to work around
no longer who can kill who first now needing strategy and map knowledge
the guns don't feel lack luster
Enviroment and civs actually mean things like shooting a fire extinguisher to explode some cops chasing you.

Cons
Some fps issues on ultra still with some heists due to high civ amounts and high quality at this time.
currently no offline mode HOWEVER will be implemented soon
waiting longer then usual for updates due to wanting all platforms updated at the same time so waiting on microsoft and sony to approve updates

Total: Yes matchmaking is taking a bit to get fixed but if some people acutally helped on the stress test this could all have been avoided. Gameplay is fun can have grindy and weird requirements again will be in future patches however look at the devs and see if their doing nothing about all this and keeping us in the dark? because they are not and doing what they can for us so be patient

Edit after syntax error: Now with all the updates rolling out with the new weapons, map etc with also the fixing of servers things have gotten a lot better with also getting IP after a heist with the new system is really impact full to get all the loot and learning the maps with how to optimise completing a heist especially on loud, the rework to armour is nice and all but still the main focus once armour is gone 2 seconds your down so would like little edits to help out instead of the only things medic bags are good for is to restore your downs and for last man standing perks. Yes the dlc is a bit high on price but think about all the things that just happened with upgrading the servers, putting the work and animations into the new things, and working on the new engine is going to cost more so get what you pay for is up there in my opinion.

Edit after Greed: When the other 2 heists came out things went a bit on the buggy side with the audio as most of us know which glad it's now fixed however.... Currently with the new heist the ai is stuck up at the spawn area probably due to the new system in play with masking up and being in stealth however once you go loud they stay at the spawn. Can revive you and deploy bags however when you revive well.... in the middle of an assault and no one to remove the cops makes it kind of hard. So I'd say wait a while at this time.
Excited for the armour 2.0 to come out in Dec now with the power to choose how you want your armour for any of your builds is a nice concept with also asking the players about the modifiers seems to be a nice touch. However I feel half of these things should have been thought about and tested first back in the betas or release the game as a EA title which I know wouldn't be good for the consoles because they wouldn't accept it and such BUT it's still improving and making up for the launch day.

I would like a mixed/middle review but with recent playtime i have to say more negative then positive.

Things I like(d):
Fun weapons
Interesting crafting
Being creative
many weapon options
Roguelike feeling

flaws....
These are things that was a recurrence that made me really feel mostly negative towards and has happened few to many times.
Falling threw the map 3 different times. (Safe house, hut, and town)
Loosing all my items in my locker
Can't get fragile things out of my locker (cans/whiskey)
Hut not giving time to store items before leaving
GAME UNOPTIMISED (get a horde of zombies haha good luck hitting them with a 40series GPU)
when trying to do a 4 player lobby kept on failing to load any map just boots to main menu.
Loosing my hand when grabbing some things that makes me unable to use my watch to open and leave.

So to me at this time is putting me into a not to happy thoughts with this game being released as a 1.1 update now with this many problems just questions I don't understand with it being in EA for so long. It's fun to screw around with the fact of half my play time is in the safe house making bombs and trap devices because we can destroy and reuse things but doesn't come close to my disappointment with these issues.

Edit: Hopping back into the game with the latest patch sadly the issues stated above with the glitching out hand and falling through the map can still happen. I went into the spawn room tried to pick up a pallet (using gravity glove setting) was semi on the pallet then made me fall through the floor and loose my right hand also was unable to open the menu ui.

Reedit: no updates after all this time I don't believe I have been attempted to get contacted so I see game has been abandoned with no communication to the players. Looking on X do see made it onto meta quest however again no update to fix a game breaking issue or addressing any fix/updates to bring some extra life into the game.

Long story short the devs for one thing don't even know how to play their own game to begin with, Now the devs are sucking on the thumbs of all the new survivors calling everything they do so strong and annoying and can't loop or some stupid ass excuse to get every single killer nerfed to the ground it is beyond dumb don't waste your money on their lies anymore just wait for VHS oh and yea THAT GAME WILL BE FREE TO PLAY

At this point in time i can't recommend this.
1. Matchmaking: THERE IS NONE Constantly put up against lvl 50+ when im still lvl 7 while i go survivor i get a full team of first time players.
2. Swamp map: just Imbalanced for specter such a big map and the drop down points can't get much with them unlike hospital there is a chance to hit them on the way down (i can understand sur's would say shouldn't be a thing but then your a dbd sur main as well)
3. lockers: if you have the door slam perk get into a locker and can instantly come out stun the killer and take no damage while the specter has a chance to destroy but gets stunned. Even without the perk the survivor can go into the locker as soon as they see the animation of destroying the locker they get out locker is destroyed but they don't loose health so just a complete waste of time there...

So until there is a even partial balance with the matchmaking system, and make some form of punishment for survivors to miss time getting out of lockers i can't say get this. unless your willing to like myself buy it try it just to support this 2 person team (if im remembering correctly)

Now im not one usually for survival games to much but this one hit me a bit differently to most, I feel it's not to hard hitting (on normal for now) in order to help with understanding the game the characters could be annoying to most, at the start could be a bit boring but once things pick up it gets more methodical and start deciding help everyone or forget some things here and there and help yourself the most. What i do love as well is that you can play with your friends even if they have a community further/higher then where you are but still don't feel over/underpowered and the risks for both sides are still there.

I hate to say this but currently this game's state to this day still about 8 months after it has come out of EA there has been no updates on the steam news. Also no I'm not in the discord and currently not planning on it again after 8 months of nothing i don't think i feel like removing one of the servers I'm in to join a feels like abandoned game but i will point out a few things with this game then.

Pros:
interesting design and layout,
Balances the panic scale for one person or more then one person,
learning on the fly is interesting.

Cons:
Not much in the way of a basic setup for showing what things are on the ship,
Just the ship ship ship not much of a "lobby" room to get towards the ship,
DEDICATED SERVERS: I'm a ausie trying to play with my friend in asia and were running at 300+ ping so some things feel a bit well broken wouldn't be the word for it
sometimes the alerts can come out to quickly and not much to show how to repair efficiently of course might be because of inexperience however next thing
REPLAY: some games have a way to show off what you can do in the late game or how to get to the late game however in this game its well.... there is no showing the objective, not seeing a score sheet for say clean runs and such, not able to meet other things, if this was even somewhat a multiplayer online game should have a way of being like i have this much money i can do this and that or want to join me and just walk to their ship.

So in my case i feel there could be a lot of promise they put so much into their video showing what they wanted but honestly flunked it soooo badly with the whole companion app idea showing it off without implementing it. it's just like the division all over again in my eyes show something but unable to do anything close to it. There is not much in the way of feeling like even wanting to make a group to be more say tactical and when i did try online public in EA it was seriously unplayable cause of bugs and THE LAG just made me uninstall it about a month+ before 1.0 became a flunk so yea...

Case in point this game totally not a $29 aud IMO if you have the money I would recommend something more if you want to support someone somewhere try other EA games id rather use this money on something that is being worked on not just 1,0 then leave hell even go and buy raw data not many players nowadays but still a awesome game for same if not cheaper price.

Now it has been a while from launch and i have to say and it pains me to say it as well with me and my partner we got more frustrated playing this game it kinda ruined us for a fair few days with how many problems we are still experiencing with it there is still no way i can recommend this i would love to but the hits sometimes don't work gun play is mediocre at best just so basic and janky for how long they tried to flesh it out and don't start with how the game looks just so insignificant...

Early Access Review
At this point in time there has been a big change back from beta deathgarden to the new deathgarden bloodharvest.

First objectives: before it was stand on a point while being revealed and just waiting it out while the killer can snipe you from the map. now there is the blood harvest and deposit mechanic which makes it where you need to move around a lot more and start collecting almost straight away otherwise not enough time. As a review did say however you can wait out the timer and leave the same as you could any other way which i don't like i think there should be a ping reveal so like every 2 seconds it shows the scavengers but the gates open latter depending on how many people are still alive.

Second change: The well "dying" mechanic. before there was the blood post when you get downed and then executed you would be put on the post then become executed or saved by someone else. The reason i like this is because it did slow down the game and have a chance to be ok again. Now however once your down and you don't ragdoll that far away your just dead no if and or buts no healing once that e is on you, you are dead which personally i don't like it makes the scavengers go into hiding more and just waiting out the timer even more and not really promoting to bring a healer along for the ride.

Third change: Classes. now there is no like set class to go with you choose a scavenger or hunter and you have perks and weapons for each. I do like that but before you saw who was using what type of skills now you have no idea what anyone is using just a 50/50 guess via the character they are and no idea what perks their running as well so you could go a game with no smokes no true distraction people things could go really poorly for the scavengers.

A addition to things i think need changing is the hunters "electric aoe effect" i don't think it should deal any damage at all currently its i think 3/4 of a bar atm but thats enough to help with either a mine, shotgun or turret to assist with a kill which i find it a bit much. With how to fix the execution either bring back stuns to the game from the disruptor class or make the execution quicker but people can still be healed when its in the middle of the animation.

The reason i'm still giving it a positive is that i do like the change the game is going through but needs a lot of polish like dead by daylight but if some of these very minor changes could happen would be a really good game to play
