Risk of Rain 2 is a game that I purchased on a whim because my friend said it was pretty good. 35 hours in 4 days later I can say that it's not just pretty good, it's incredible. Risk of Rain 2 has everything you need in terms of challenge, variety, unlockables and enemies. Even though there are only 9 different maps (not including the final stage) every playthrough feels fresh since spawn locations are different. Characters all offer a unique playstyle which lets everyone feel like they have something to pick up. Any build of items can be made viable in the right hand. Building 25 Paul's Goat Hooves on loader with a Little Disciple is a way to complete the Void Fields by running around like a maniac. Every run is fresh and new and it never feels easy. Risk of Rain 2 is an incredible game that you should consider trying.
