I've been excited for this game to come out - I'm extremely detail oriented and have been constantly tweaking my sens and controls to improve my game performance.

My 2c on the negative reviews
I don't understand the negativity for this currently. I read through the tool tips at the start, and having actually done so, don't find the UI confusing or buggy, even with an ultra-wide monitor which is usually the most incompatible screen ratio for UI design. The game is $10 USD, sure, Aimlab is free, but I feel like $10 is extremely reasonable for this potential.
I'm not sure how people are reviewing this game so prematurely when it recommends multiple days and sessions of refinement when it's been out for 24 hours, give me a break.

This game is NOT Aimlab
Aimlab is a good sensitivity TRAINER, Oblivity is a sensitivity FINDER. Oblivity takes the results from training and recommends changes to your sensitivity based on your performance. Aimlab simply gives you a score, if you want to find your sensitivity you have to set up a playlist, repeat it over and over, and crunch your numbers. if you change this playlist or play style it will skew your data unless you do advanced data analysis for a living. Oblivity makes this easy. There isn't anything similar like this available today.

Having said that, this is initial impressions review I wanted to put out there ahead of other negative reviews, I'll certainly revise this as I sink more hours into this. Looking forward to seeing the potential of Oblivity!

If you play most games with a controller and are used to a console experience, you will likely enjoy this game. The gameplay is fun in my few hours playing, however; these were the cause of my refund:

No Ultrawide monitor support
For an open world game in 2022 this is surprising
Coop/Multiplayer is misleading
Your multiplayer session disbands when anybody dies, and you need to use consumable items to play together again. With how difficult this game is (which is awesome), this is an annoying trade-off as you'll spend more time re-joining friends than fighting a boss with them
UI/UX/Tutorials/Hints are not keyboard friendly
I had to learn the game by constantly going into my settings to see what the keyboard mappings were, because the game only shows you controller controls in hints/popups
Global message system is limited and abusable
The ingame global message system is cool, where you can leave ingame "signs" for all players to see, but extremely limited in attempts to censor game language, leading to messages that are cryptic and many times useless. Messages can be abused and placed over action items which makes it difficult to perform an action.
Camera movement could be improved
While running, the game constantly tried to reset your camera view behind your character, which makes it extremely difficult to track foes in freecam while running around

Other than these areas that I believe are pretty simple fixes, the gameplay is fun, challenging, and rewarding. Would definitely reconsider purchasing if these issues are addressed, but as a keyboard exclusive PC player, I cannot recommend the game currently to others looking to have a good mouse/keyboard experience with their friends.

Sorry Dice/EA, even gave this a shot after launch day patches and it's still an utter mess. Leaving my negative review rightfully low until the issues are resolved. This is NOT a game that should be purchased in its current state.

Honestly, I really enjoyed this game when I first got it, but there are WAY to many bugs, glitches, and sync issues to make this game enjoyable most of the time. This game has great potential, but it needs a lot of work to have a seamless experience for everyone.

I'm glad I only played 1.1 hours in alpha development, because I atleast expected the game to grow at that point. Because I never went back to it to see how terrible it's become, I can say I'm content with my transition to space engineers (which was developed in WAY less time than this game)

While the concept is great in Watch_Dogs, the overall open-world interactivity doesn't compare to many other open-world games, namely Grand Theft Auto and Driver series. There are many instances in this game where I wish there was more. The campaign is blisteringly fun, taking out criminal convoys, gang hidouts, and multiplayer are all a blast. But there's a feeling of lacking content when 8% into the campaign you already have enough money to buy every weapon and car, with no other purpose for money other than to gamble with. Many of the mini-games are also really elaborate and detailed such as chess moves, texas hold 'em, etc. But vehicle AI is...lacking, cops don't patrol to catch you commiting crimes (they only rely on citizen calls which are too easily thwarted), vehicles don't move out of the way for emergency vehicles, police don't try to detain you, just kill you, there are no weapon or vehicle upgrades (so buying your own vehicles is utterly pointless, and I want a silenced sniper!) . Many of the games unlocks aren't progress based, so even when not playing the campaign you can unlock EVERYTHING, which wouldn't be terrible if it weren't so dang easy.

Playing on realistic difficulty the game still isn't as difficult as I would like it to be, I've died a few times from stupid mistakes but overall the difficulty isn't a game-changer. A lacking multiplayer coop mission system is also a dissapointment, rather, me and my friend ran around the map doing individual missions in the same session with "multiplayer free-roam", with no real opportunity to help eachother out for one common goal.

Overall the game is fun, but for the money I'd rather invest in Driver or a GTA series game (GTA5 hopefully, if it comes to pc), the game's lacking in really diverse gameplay is made-up for it's detail in mini-games. But sometimes I just want to fly a plane, drive around in emergency vehicles, and play missions with my friends. Having pushed the development back a few months, I was really expecting more diverse gameplay options.
