Overwatch 2 Spotlight: Hypocrisy in the Spotlight
Blizzard has finally decided to step up… but only after getting crushed by Marvel Rivals. This Overwatch 2 Spotlight feels more like a desperate damage control patch than an actual evolution of the game.

🔸 "New" features that should’ve been there from the start
They're selling skill upgrades as a groundbreaking feature, but it's literally just a copy-paste of Apex Legends' perk system. Nothing original, just recycled mechanics.

🔸 The return of loot boxes
Blizzard is bringing back loot boxes from the first Overwatch. Are we supposed to celebrate? They removed them, claiming it was an improvement, and now they’re backtracking. Feels like they’re just out of ideas.

🔸 A "CS/Valorant-inspired" mode… Blizzard style
A mode where you earn points each round to buy gear and upgrades. But on top of that, they’re adding kill abilities and passives. Sounds interesting, but knowing Blizzard’s track record with balancing, this is likely a future nightmare.

And imagine if they suddenly announce a story mode… Yes, the same one that was supposed to be Overwatch 2’s big feature before being canceled by corporate suits who didn’t find it "profitable enough". It would be peak irony, but at this point, nothing is surprising anymore.

In the end, Blizzard is still trying to sell us fake "new content" while scrambling to keep up with the competition. Overwatch 2 was supposed to be a true evolution, but instead, it's a game that only wakes up when it's in danger.
