There's lots to love about Veilguard.
TL;DR if you liked DA2, or are new to the series, I think you'll like it.

Pros
- New lore is phenomenal and the overarching story is really well written.
- Solas is brilliant.
- Dynamic, fluid combat system
- New specialisations from factions in the game
- Companions feel more real than previous games, and exist outside of their relationship to Rook.
- Best character creator yet
- Armour looks awesome, companion gear system very nice and streamlined.
- Most of the voice acting is really good.

The Not-so-Good
- Cities are limited. Less so than Val Royeaux was but not as expansive as I would like.
- Companions can feel a bit one note, and underutilised (Varric).
- Lack of overarching politics in the world of Thedas in response to the villains.
- Characters from past games feel like mascot cameos rather than thoughtful inclusions.
- Getting rid of The Keep was a huge mistake imo. This plot touches all of Thedas, and my past choices in DA. It matters to me even if it's only an off-hand mention in a "missive".

Solid story and characters, absolutely recommend if you need more VTM in your life
