Expert difficulty ruined me. Everything in Expert requires I have bionic arms capable of doing insanely fast swings from one side of the play area to the other in a fraction of a second, odd patterns, weirdly placed directions for notes as if I was born with the wrong bone structure, notes that don't flow well into the next, notes crammed together requiring me to already know what they were ahead of time while having to rotate my whole arm 90 degrees just so I can swing the saber fast enough to even hit them, and notes flying at my face at mk3. Also I swear there are notes I hit but it just doesn't register? The worst part of it is when I decide to go back to Hard to relax a bit the songs feel just SOOO SLOOOOW now.

This is a Me problem I guess since I had the chance to play with a new friend and they can play them just fine.

Modded seems like a blast though so I guess I'll try getting that setup....

Well, I managed to beat the game in about 8 hours solo (give or take some afk time) without finding any of the Core Keys (The keys that get rid of the debuffs in the final area).
The final boss was kind of a joke really, all I did was run in circles smacking turrets.
Gameplay boils down to open doors, kill enemies, don't let the bot die, find the door to the next zone, repeat three more times till you win the game.
Combat is mostly just standing back and holding down left mouse button till the enemies die to death while smacking the defenses you place to repair them.
There are four enemy types but I only noticed slight differences in them that being each type has their defense disabler (they either stop them from working or kill them), an enemy that comes in swarms but dies fast, and a harder to kill enemy plus a few others to pad them out that I really didn't pay much attention to since they didn't stand out enough.
Replayability comes from finding all the lore, buying all the meta progression stuff like weapon upgrades (two per weapon), character upgrades, and doing all the character miniquests so you can slot said upgrades.
I can't really find anything that makes me dislike the game other than a real lack of much to do so the only real option I have is a thumbs up.
I can't really think of anything else to say at the moment.

FOR THE QUEEN!

This was my first Unreal game; it was my first game from Epic; It was my childhood sitting in a chair too big for me while my Step-Dad watched me win against his co-workers; It's the reason why my favorite color is Red; I can remember it all, the sounds, the voice lines, the sights, the map, the weapons with two different attacks, the only sniper I could ever get consistent headshots with, the game modes. Countless hours spent fighting bots and random servers.

I love this game, I will never NOT love this game.

Many years later as an adult I discover Paragon at the store, looked neat, decided to buy it.
It was my favorite MOBA.

I loved Paragon, I will never NOT love Paragon.

I finally get a decent computer of my own and decide to install Paragon on it Via the Epic Games Launcher.
What's this? A brand new Unreal Tournament game made in conjunction with the community? Bliss. I have fun for a few months. Then I see it.
Fortnite: Save the world, Coming Soon. I become a Founder. It was fun for a time if not a bit grindy. Then it happens, the battle royal craze.
Only a little miffed that Unreal didn't get the treatment, but that became a boon, then once again became a bane as the worst came.
They stopped working on the new Unreal Tournament game. Denial
They killed off Paragon. Depression
They start Ham-Fisting a method of gaining consumers for their new digital game store by buying off Devs to only sell on their platform. Anger
Now? They pull all the Unreal games off stores. ANGER

Epic Games has slighted my very being on a personal level. I'm done with them.
I would highly recommend you get this game 10/10, but you can't...

I mean it's cool and all to see them in a new game, but it still makes me sad. ;-;

As the game stands it really satisfies my time old need to shoot to the rhythm of songs in some games which I find really enjoyable.

Spoon Is just mad I won.

You can ride the minecarts now (with a mod). Surfing the first cart for good luck is made 100 times more easy because of this.
