Time for closure that I've failed to do until now. The year has gone fast but the days feel much longer, and with with that additional metaphorical time i've written this.

There was once a drummer who played a loud song
The sound rang for miles that other players came along
He gave us a tempo to play the music around
He didn’t care if we wanted to go fast or slow down
He had his own beat that could not be wavered
So we played around him and every note was savored
There were vocals pianos guitars and some basses
But without percussion the music was baseless

The music we played had a vast array of colors
The result was strange but they fit with each other
Every so often the written key changed
To something more soft and slowly arranged
The keys switched too, some major some minor
But the drummer kept drumming to the beat that he desired
Drums don’t do keys that’s not how they play
So the drummer just kept tapping whatever he felt that day.
But one day the snare stopped the crash ceased the crashing
The drummer boy stopped coming the drum beat was passing
So we all took our hands and clapped a sad tune
Here’s to you drummer boy our goodbye song to you.

I saw that this was still on my friends list, I still can't believe it's been this long, it seems like it happened only a few months ago. I wish you were still here with us.

Not sure how people are finding out about what happened, but I'm his older (step)brother. He was a good kid.

He got the name Sunoken from a character I've been developing for years, Sunoeken. Sunoeken is a representation of ambivalence or duality of opposites working together personified.

Our parents got together about 9-10 years ago and I met him soon after. He was playing pokemon sapphire on the couch in the living room and I knew we'd get along. We had more good times than bad. I'm mad at myself for not spending more time with him after moving out. I thought he had everyone here to game with and I thought he was happy with that. I wanted to get him on Warframe or bring him over to play Smash Bros, but that chance has passed.
I'm gonna miss you little bro.
