Mega man rogue like. Great game. Don't take my word for it. Buy it. That is all.

Initially, I didn't purchase this game because of the EULA, even though I wanted it. Mostly I just forgot it existed. Then I was going through old Humble Bundle keys and saw that I had gotten a key from an old monthly bundle. I installed and played and it's exactly what I expected it would be. Wave combat that can get gloriously broken with friends who communicate with each other. The combat is fun, the levels are well constructed, and the gunplay just feels... right. I still wouldn't pay anything more than rental prices because of the EULA, but if the value proposition suits you, this is a good time-killer with friends.

Brothers is an emotional cooperative puzzle game where you are presented with just how terrible a cooperative partner you are. And... it's brilliant. I played it for a little more than 2 hours, and, Wow! Unfortunately, I can't say too much about how the game works - to do so would be to spoil everything great about it. Please, just take my advice: plug in your controller of choice, set aside a couple of hours on a lazy weekend, and let this game take you on a journey. You will not regret the decision. Even up against games like Spelunky, Bioshock Infinite, this is my game of 2013.

This is one of the best first person puzzle games I have ever played. I can't say too much without spoiling at least some portion of the game, but then again, that's the pedigree of a great puzzle game. Fans of Portal, Qube and Quantum Conundrum are doing themselves a disservice by not giving this game a try. It's worth every penny.

Quite simply one of the best seizures I could ever have. A great way to waste time.

For me this game falls in between Brotherhood and II, leaning more closely to II. Knocks against it: they've changed the controls ever so slighttly between this one and the last two games; just enough that you'll die a couple of times in the heat of the moment because you fell back into old habits. The writing is poor; the first assassination made me wonder if the writeres even understood Ezio's character. New character models for Desmond and Ezio; can't reaally figure out why Ubi decided to do this for the last game in the series, but by they time you start to get used to it, the game is over. The mini-games suck; I dont' care about a crappy tower defense, or a bomb-making game.

Things it does right: parkour, and killing. Luckily, those two things are enough to make it worth it.

Apocalyptic in scope, Darksiders delivers a Zelda-esque gamine experience that even Nintendo is hard-pressed to top. You play as War, one of the Four Horsement of The Apocalypse, in a quest to simultaneously clear his own accusations for starting the apocalypse before the anointed time, and find and punish those who did.. The combat is terrific, the dungeons are amazing and the story is breathtakikng in scope, promise and delivery. If you're a fan of God of War or The Legend of Zelda, this game is a definite must buy.

Hmmm... positive things to say about this game. The water looks beautiful.

The downsides? I felt like I was responsible for walking between the cutscenes. There was plenty of action in the cutscenes, but then my next objective was to get to the next cutscene. Avoid, even at the budget price.

Demented.

This game is demented. Taking its cues from the old testament bible story of the same name, The Binding of Isaac is the tale of a very little boy and his struggle for survival against a mother set on sacrificing him to a god who has demanded the act. With gameplay reminicent of The Legend of Zelda (NES), and aspects such as level randomization and perma-death, this game simultaneously scratches the action RPG and Rogue-like itches. If you have an interest in either, play this game.
