Actual game of the year

Somehow has better graphics than borderlands 4 whilst also being extremely optimized.

Obviously this is early access, combat feels a bit hollow right now and a bit more variety will be added to the game i'm sure.
The overall structure of the game is very promising though, they could really do a ton with it and am very excited to see where it goes.

After playing for a few hours, this game is without a doubt game of the year.

As an avid dark souls, bloodborne, sekiro and souls-like enjoyer, I can confidently say I am having as much- if not more fun with this so far than elden ring on release day.

The challenge is there, the exploration is there, the immersion is there, pretty much any way you play the game seems to find a way to reward you for it. The combat is beyond engaging, role-playing aspect is unmatched in any game I've played so far - i'm even putting it above baldurs gate.

I feel as if too many people preemptively judged the game with the whole micro-transaction thing (which believe me, i understand, im with you), but something is telling me that these people didn't even play the game past the tutorial/intro yet. You'd completely forget it was even an option in the first place if you just pick up the game. It's sad to see what review bombing can do.

THAT BEING SAID - i understand that its a terrible sales tactic, especially with them hiding the fact of its existence until release day! But as i said it's literally not even a part of the game at all! It's just an option! REVIEW THE GAME FOR WHAT IT IS! There was an unimaginable amount of work put into this game, and it makes me sad that such a masterpiece was given such a harsh welcome, albeit somewhat deserved.

Hope you guys can see where i'm coming from. With that said, please buy this game. If you like what you see in the trailers, you'll like it even better once you play.
