Constant crashes even though I've applied the fixes recommended on the Steam forum. 13900k and 4090 with ray tracing off and I have to race to the next save point in hope I get there before it crashes and resets 20 minutes of my life. What a joke EA.....

EDIT - The main story has been shortened which means the dev has listened. If you love fort defending or attacking on a scale nothing else has delivered yet (in terms of the 3D and interactive world) this is for you. If not - you dont have to do it as much so this is for you!

ORIGINAL - The story is fantastic and the ending is what makes open world RPGs one of the best gaming genres!

If you liked Shadow of Mordor you will love Shadow of War!!!

If you haven't played Shadow of Mordor I would do that first and rush the story to see if you like it.

LOOT BOXES DON'T MATTER - Don't listen to the hate, if you play the game and never open a box it will not matter at all. At no point is there a feeling that you're falling behind and at no point does the game force you to buy a box. Once you get to max level you realise even if you do open a box they suck anyway.

That said if you have more money than sense and you bought this game to look at legendary orcs and think "I'm the best" then go ahead buy the boxes. Then be disapointed.

By end game the best set you can equip is given to you as a freebie and any other legendary gear you might want doesn't take too long after a google to grab hold of it.

LOADS OF FUN.

I haven't had a problem online and yes people try to kill you but you can kill them too - there is also passive mode.

Single player is worth the money for the game alone and plays out 3 characters stories very well, back stories included.

A must buy for any PC or console owner!

I run 6700k with a GTX 980. Now the 980 is a good graphics card yet doesnt have the 6gb Vram it suggests. I wouldn't worry.

I run this with my 980 in 1080p on maximum settings with 70+ fps.

This is a definate extra!

What can I say other than amazing. Had this game on PS4 and when i got my PC I just had to buy it again. Immersive sound and graphics along with easy to use controls with or without a controller. Very well thought out storyline as an adaptation of the LOTR universe.
