I'm generally the person who is (happily) left behind at base while others go off and do the quests. I make our base look pretty and the team brings me back spoils from their adventures to decorate with. In Enshrouded, I've found myself running off into the wilderness on my own just to explore the world! I love flying around the skies in the glider. Nearly everything you see on the map is somewhere you can travel to eventually.

Enshrouded has my favorite build system by far. It has a bit of a learning curve at the start, but once you learn it, it's second nature. Combat is my least favorite part of games, usually, but I find myself enjoying the challenge here (I've done both battlemage and archer runs). There are fun puzzles built into the world, the team just introduced animal taming, the clothes look better and better the further you play, the NPCs give your base plenty of life, and the lore of the world is fascinating to dive into. Lastly, it seems clear to me how much the team is putting their hearts into this game, and I appreciate their lighthearted and fun community engagement approach.

It's been a long time since I've cared so much about a game, and Enshrouded has me captivated. I can't wait to see what the team has in store for us in 2025. :)
