There's a lot of meme reviews of this game, but not even joking this is a really good game.

It's kinda a first person blend of Unturned & Risk of Rain, with a *far* more present threat of enemies that makes defending even the most meager of huts feel like a castle siege (especially once the big boys start coming out at night and laying proper siege). The bosses feel almost like bullet hell bosses, and enemies are more than willing to horde. It's a very simple game in it's current state, but it's very fun at the same time.

Hoping to see this game evolve as the updates roll out :D

I have... an unhealthy amount of hours in this game. It may or may not reflect in this review, because it just translated over to Steam from Battle.net, but it's an honest truth to say I've played almost exclusively this game in my spare time for the last year.

So, what makes Destiny 2 worth playing? Answer: everything. The "Destiny 2 Experience" you may have heard of or remember from it's faulty launch in 2017 is all but gone, with only a couple questlines remaining as a reminder it ever happened. A very large quantity of new and amazing content remains to discover.

Weapons, armor, and progression designs have been overhauled since 2017, and Armor just got another overhaul heading into Shadowkeep. Systems you may have known from Bungie's old Halo games, such as recoil or overpowered hand cannon - pistol things show themselves in full force here, and the stories told in the game's world are unlike that which I can honestly say I've seen done in a shooter before or since.

Destiny is to shooters what WoW was for third-person RPGs - the gold standard for taking it to the MMO scene.

Recommended... tentatively. The game itself is a solid title, with an exhilarating premise and good gunplay to boot (although admittedly some of the guns don't have the punchiest sounds). The only downside is that at the moment, either the servers are being screwy or I'm having issues (which is entirely possible, given I'm playing through Proton and EAC is having issues with it), so Ranked play disconnects every minute or so. That being said, Server Browser / Custom Games work just fine even over Proton, so there is fun to be had.

CrossCode is to Legend of Zelda as A Hat in Time is to Super Mario 64 - and I can't really explain that analogy past "play the four of them and you'll understand". Crosscode sort of turns the top-down RPG thing on it's head, with a little bit of a meta-joke about this being an RPG *about* an RPG, and quickly turning into a truly rich open world. Quests upon quests await, and if you're looking for a game to sink hours into, this is the best thing I can recommend.

Well, either this or Hat in Time.

It's something of what I would imagine would happen if id Software had tried to make Team Fortress, rather than Valve. Different characters with different abilities, but holding true to the Quake multiplayer formula of high speed, high skill deathmatch.

While it is definitely rough around the edges, and while the performance leaves something to be desired, it does work via Valve's Proton functionality in Linux as well as in Windows, so it's a great game if you just want to get frags.

Intensely difficult, will kick your ass, either by Zombies or by consistent command console bugs. Or cactus. Or losing time in it. Or... anything, really. Very fun game in total. Worth picking up.

Very poor rendition of Block N Load... microtransactions at every turn.

CS:GO Review
Ten-man teams, a deceptive variety of weapons to find and collect, and the ever-classic AWP.

What could go wrong with this game? Seriously, my only complaint is that only a few of the weapons (the Snipers and Scoped ARs) can ADS, but all the guns have iron sights. Seems fishy. Other than that, 9.8/10. Great gameplay that WILL suck you in until you die.

P.S. Cheap skins do exist in the Steam Community Market.

P.P.S. To all CoD players, don't expect to rip into people instantly. I made that mistake. You will be creamed your first several matches; this game takes some time to get good at.

The game was an amazing, simple tank builder until this last update, which added a necessity to attack "control towers" in order to eventually launch an assault on the enemy beacon....
