Early Access Review
Space; the final frontier. We might not be able to explore our solar system, launch countless space stations and monsterous rockets in real life, but virtually anything is possible in Kerbal Space Program. This is ultimately how an early access game should be done, and I'm writing this on the launch day of 1.0 as it's coming out of Beta. It's come a long way with a massive community of modders out there, which thankfully are not going to turn into paid mods--and developers who listen to, as well as have hired members of the community to help with the game.

It can be relentless, it can be fun, and at times hilarious. Whether you're an absolute beginner, have some rudimentary knowledge of rocketry--this can be great for people of all playing styles and ages. You also don't have to dedicate a whole lot of time--jump in for 5 minutes, or a few hours.

Want to just blow up rockets? That's fine.
Space Station nut with no goal of exploration? You're missing out, but that's fine too.
Are you like me and love building entire networks of probes and satellites? Ah, that's fun and quite the challenge.

The experience is quite something unique, and I can't recommend this enough. Pick it up as soon as you can.

Pros:
- Surprisingly well-optimized
- Some replayability to be had

Cons:
- Even with the potential replayability, the story mission is quite short

Other thoughts:
In the steam sale that is currently going on at the time of writing this at -33%, I'd recommend buying it. At the normal price, I can't be sure. But none the less, you'd be supporting the developers, and would be letting them know that the risk of delving into the PC market as well as the hard work, was worth it. There's a line Snake says, which goes "kept you waiting, huh?". Yes, and it was worth the wait to finally see another MGS come to the PC, and a well-optimized one at that after the fiasco of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance oh-so-many years ago. This is finely polished.

I cannot comment on the mouse and keyboard layout, as from the get-go I decided to opt to use a Xbox 360 controller.

As a huge Star Trek fan. I've got to say this game is simply awesome and I waited a long time for it to go free-to-play - happy it did and haven't stopped playing it since.

A must download/play for anyone else who's a Star Trek fan.

Will you be a hero, or a villain?

For as long as I can remember, I had always wanted to be one of those from reading comics as kid, watching TV shows or movies of Batman and Superman, fighting against Lex Luthor or The Joker.

In DC Universe: Online, you get to be your own hero or villain. Customization is amazing, you can make your character your own and it's great to have an MMO with a well established lore and some new elements where you can run like The Flash, sore through the air like Superman or be as cunning and aerobatic as Batman.

Download this game, play it for a few hours and you never know - you may be like me and go from free membership to Premium, or even Legendary.

The first game in what will be an epic saga from Ubisoft. You follow Desmond Miles as he's placed into a machine known as the Animus which allows the partcipant to relive key moments of an ancestor.

The ancestor in question is an Assassin called Alair in what history remembers as The Crusades. The story is rich and environments the same.

This is a must buy - no hesitation. After, you'll want to play it's sucessors Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and the upcoming (at the time of writing) Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

Excellent blend of gameplay and next generation graphics. As someone who doesn't necessarily play racing sims and similar - I have to say that this takes you to the tracks.

Optimized for AMD processors and HD6000 series graphics cards, the experience is smooth and fluid on my system which sports a AMD Phenom II x6 1090T and HD6770 1GB.

Although I got this game free with my CPU, I would've definitely bought it and will say that it is worth it.

I've loved these Star Wars: Battlefront games and it's my only wish that Lucas Arts would realise the high demand for a Battlefront III.

If you're a Star Wars fan and want to be part of the battles from Star Wars history, whether you're playing as the Empire or the Rebellion, the CIS or Republic.

As long as the game has been out as well as it's predecessor - there's a huge community of modders and you won't be short of them with this game.

From Order 66 to a full Conversion Pack 2.2 that allows you to fight as Jedi and Sith as old - this is definitely worth the price tag and a must buy.

Simply awesome game. Much better than Bioshock 2, would recommend purchasing and playing it any day.
