Early Access Review
You're a dwarf. You dig for ridiculous materials in space using crazy gadgets and weapons to fight off what is effectively giant mutant insects. What's not to love?

Honestly, I don't even know what to say here. This game is fantastic, for as simple as it seems on the surface. I loved every minute of playing it for the first time, and every single time after that.

10/10 Seriously, buy this game.

Alright, I feel like I have to write a review for this game, as I've been reading a bunch of the reviews here, and I don't feel that most of them are true to the current situation of the game.

First point I want to address, is the point of 'Pay 2 Win'. From what I can tell, this is highly FALSE. Yes, you can put real-world money into the game to buy the in-game 'Kredits' (i think that's the name for it, anyway) which helps you buy pretty much everything in the game, and lets you access some special crates in the game. Well, that's nice and all, but it isn't essential. Those crates that you can get are random-chance crates, and only offer a chance at getting a permanent weapon, like all the rest of the crates. And besides that, almost all the weapons are unlockable at some point naturally, meaning no one has a distinct advantage, only luck can help there.

Also, before i move onto an actual review, wanted to note something. There's only like...one of two weapons per class that are straight upgrades to the stock weapon for that class. These weapons are a part of the natural unlocking chains, and are usually in either the common or rare trees, meaning it shouldn't take too long to find them.

Now, for the actual review, which i will condense for review length reasons. Warface is your typical FPS, Blue (Warface) versus Red (Blackwood...why not redwood if all your tags are Red....). You've got 2 main modes in the game, Co-Op and Versus, each with there own subsets of games. In Co-Op, you play as Warface doing some sort of objective that has to deal with Blackwood forces in the area. Versus is your typical multiplayer in an FPS, having gamemodes such as Team Deathmatch, Free-For-All, Plant the Bomb (Search and Destroy from Call of Duty, for those wondering) and a few other gamemodes that I haven't bothered to play much of. If you want to do good in Versus...well, i would recommend playing through some Co-Op missions first, just to get a feel for the game.

Alright, think I hit everything i wanted to with this review. If i missed anything that you feel is important, or there is some spelling error or something that you just want to say, feel free to comment on here telling me so.

(Seriously though guys, ending note, this game is NOT Pay-2-Win).

Edit 1 (7/7/14): So, did forget to cover something; Glitches.

There aren't overly many glitches that I've seen so far, but those that I have seen have been rather game breaking. Heavy Gunners (which have been much more common in the past few missions) have a small chance to totally glitch out and dissappear, or as I've heard, just fall through the floor. Well, sweet, that means no Heavy Gunner fight, right? Wrong. If this happens, you have to restart the entire mission, which can be annoying depending on the difficulty.

Another glitch that my brother discovered is getting stuck under the Evacuation chopper. This one can be solved normally by walking/hopping around while under the chopper, but it's annoying when you have to spend 5 minutes just getting out from under it. And i know some would say 'well, just kick the man'. Easier said then done. Would you kick your own friend/brother from a game when you're right at the end, especially if it's hardcore?

Now, those are the only two 'big' glitches that i've personally come accross, and i think the devs could actually fix both of them, given time at least. Now, i know there are other glitches, but I haven't seen them, so I can't say how game-breaking those ones are. (I know there are a couple of game-breaking ones out there, but i don't know how they are caused or how to fix them while in game, so i won't put them here yet).

Last note for this update, is this: If you are going to rate this review (upvote/downvote), for the love of all that is holy/good, tell me why you vote it that way, so I can either continue to write reviews that way, or I can go back and fix them.

First Review!

So, I thought long and hard about how to about this review. Whether I would go about this jokingly or seriously. But, seeing a lack of reviews from people that joined after the F2P update that are serious, i though, meh, lets go serious.

TF2 ISN'T your average shooter. Or at least, your average F2P shooter. You don't need to pay money to get anywhere in the game, as there is no defined way to become better than other players other than practice. There's no 'Pay to Win' elements in the game, none at all.

Even TF2's gamemodes are different from your normal shooters, F2P or not. Nowhere else can you find a gamemode where you're pushing an explosive cart all the way accross the map, just to drop it in a hold and explode everything...usually including yourself. You also won't be able to fight some big shirtless austrailian man who kills people with his bare fists. Nope, none of that's gonna be in your Call of Duty Games.

The community is different as well. On your average day, you'll meet the people who are your regular gamers; the people who casually play TF2 in spare time or with friends. Then you'll meet the tryhards, though don't worry, the tryhards aren't too bad in this game. And of course, there's the trolls, but what's the fun of playing a game online if there isn't at least one troll lurking around.

In the end, I recommend this game to the casual gamers who will only get to play this in their spare time, and I also recommend this to the hardcore gamers, as there is always something to do on here, and there will always be a bomb to deploy/prevent deployment.

And yes, while hats are unfortunately used to judge a players skill, you can still topscore/do your best on a team while wearing no hats at all. Don't worry, it's totally possible.
