By far the best Total War game to date, this is not only the single best entry for new players without a doubt with the best tutorial system in any Total War game to date while being deeper technically and mechanically than any Total War game before it.

The graphics are absolute top notch, and I can't help but talk about the stunning animations. You won't admire the animations in this game enough until you get your army of epic monsterious units pitted against an opponents monsters, watching a Hell Pit Abomination body slam a Dark Elf Dragon never gets old, and these interactions exist between all monsterous units.

This game doesn't expand a whole lot on the Battle scene from Warhammer I but I believe it's because that Creative Assembly knew they didn't have to, in my opinion Warhammer I & II have the best army controls of any Total War game out; sure some miss the good old preset formations but many Warhammer fans already know that it was replaced with a far more superiour formation grouping system, no more preset formations, you design your formations by hand in the midst of battle and damn does it work well.

This game is something else, and expands on Warhammer I in every single respect. With the already extensive modding scene and the colossal map I can't help but tell Total War fans to go straight to Warhammer II
