The only downside is that the demo caps your population out, I'd love to keep building! It's so zen

Early Access Review
The lovechild of Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Minecraft and... Australia?
Dinkum has a lot of content for an early access game! (Even multiplayer!) This from a one man developer-publisher as well. With a budding community and a lot of good feeling, this game promises to be a memorable hit.
There's still some jankiness, bugs and odd things NPCs say... But it's frequently updated and with a roadmap and bug tracker online you know it's being worked out!

ROCK AND STONE BROTHERS

Amazing community, simple game to grasp with a high skill ceiling. My only gripe is that it's a long old grind to get to level 25, and promote a character, to unlock all the terminals and game modes

Definitely worth getting in the sale for a fiver. The base game that is, the "Delux Edition" is a rip off. A 1:1 recreation of the galaxy with a (glacially) slow-moving plot, but more importantly pew pew space battles.

Originally this review said Frontier are caring less and less about Elite. However, things have come around in the last year or two. New ships are being made and they're using this as a revenue stream for the game - and we're seeing big changes.

Okay so, a lot has changed in a few years. The price has dropped, for one thing, and they've actually updated this to be functional on a modern PC. Elite has it's pain points but, for the time I've gotten out of it, it's worth it. Us Elite players can explain a bunch but it's good to look back at how broad this game is and what you can do in it!

This Odyssey expansion isn't much really, but for the cost (especially on sale!) it gives you access to that little bit more to do in an already expansive game.

I forgot I got this with the rest of the game. Never touched the ships. Honestly not worth your time, if you really want the pretty colours then buy some in game currency and paint the ships you use instead

Recommended - BUT, this game is such a kick in the balls when trying to play with friends. This "full" game features some of the most user-unfriendliness I've seen since that short time I tried to use Linux as a main OS.
Trying to run a session with some mates is hell. Once you're actually playing the game it's frickin awesome - I mean, who doesn't wanna ride a T-Rex, flinging spears at dodos? - but to actually get there your mates have to reconnect, reboot the game and restart several times before actually getting to you.

Oh, and it's not worth the £45 price tag, wait for a sale for sure!
