The cheap trick with Marduk's grabs is to guess 1 or 2 for single arm punches. But, if you chose 1 or 2 and you see both his arms coming at you, you still have time to switch to hitting 1+2. You can't choose 1+2 first and then later switch your answer.... if his hands hit your face it's too late no matter what.
