This game is a step down from the likes of Grim Dawn. The gameplay feels very linear. The atmosphere isn't as grim as one would think. The Skills don't seem Important towards the Endgame. Itemization is still good and will keep you playing this slot.

Played AoE 2 for years before I came across this. Honestly, felt underwhelmed and boring.

Good story, good combat, great nemesis system. Loved the ending unlike a few.

Great visuals and a really good soundtrack. The atmosphere is beautiful, surreal waterfalls, luscious terrain and those magical energy orbs scattered everywhere. The game is gorgeous top to bottom. The setting and the story is intriguing just enough.

The Gameplay feels slightly linear. Level designing is poor too.

The game is way to linear, never got me hooked up.

Played this after playing grim dawn.
Leveling up takes a lot of time.
good loot is scarce at the start.
boss fights can be tough.
GRIND IS REAL

Brilliant sandbox environtment, stunning landscapes
distructable environment. A map 3 TIMES !! as big as GTA 5.
Still a game with couple of flaws(Massive).

Pros-
>stunning visuals
>brilliant grappling hook, wingsuit mechanics.(you almost feel like spiderman with that hook)
>destructable environment
>CHEAP (got it for 1.2$ in my country on sale).
>Enemys are like bullet magnets. Realy feels satisfing to jump right into action and kill everyone like f*cking Rambo.
>Theres tanks which are very cool.
>Not an Intresting story but the missions are well designed.

Cons-
>Played 5 hours, the story never got exiting or seemed to intrest me.
>The map is HUGE. but it feels the same everywhere , no real variations across all four islands. Same terrain everywhere.
Each and every town looks pretty much identical. If you were to be stranded randomly anywhere across the map you
wont be able to make out where you are.
>The weapons(assault Rifles) all feel the same pretty much.(I might not have played that long to unlock more maybe)
>Here comes the big one, VEHICLE MECHANICS!!
To say that the car mechanics are bad is an understatement. Its HORRIFIC!
literally my head hurts when im in a car. Its really really really bad.

Overall -
This is a fun game untill you step inside a car.
