Early Access Review
Cool. I did not expect this game to be surprisingly good... Yes, the game is low budget and the price is only 99 cents. Worth the 99 cents? Absolutely.

Even though it is super short and only delivers roughly 30 minutes worth of gameplay, but the atmosphere is fantastic and something horror fans would love to check out. It builds tension very very well and uses a variety of things such as flickering lights, brief mysterious messages, creepy noises, and small bizarre events. It also forces you to be cautious of the mysterious killer lurking around the house wanting to get your head. That helped to create the jumpscares to be quite scary and unexpected. People have known jumpscares to be annoying and pointless in other games but is not the case for this game. The jumpscares were actually done well even with the obvious flaws of being a low budget title. To simply summarize the graphics, it is very similar to "Emily Wants to Play" and "Boogeyman" which both are under the use of Unreal Engine 4.

I love the holiday theme used in the game and it brought me some memories of watching holiday horror films like Black Christmas, Silent Night Deadly Night and an unexpected Science Fiction film which I cannot explain further without spoiling the game.

Overall, a very enjoyable cheap game worth to experience for horror enthusiasts. 99 cents do not hurt.

Bottle is quite a solid first person adventure game that helped me relax a lot and feel great until the ending. Beauty is clearly highlighted in this one and is purely eye candy for the audience. It creates such a relaxing and satisfying atmosphere that would inspire the player to play around and take some screenshots for good ole fun. Sure, it's VERY short but is something worthwhile to experience. I love the fact there is an additional mode (walk noir) added after completing the first adventure. The difference is basically it changed from day to night with an alternative ending.

How does this rank among all the walking simulators out there? It's among the tier 2 games of the genre (there are four tiers in my book which tier 1 is the highest quality). This means Bottle is definitely something to take an adventure in! Recommended.

The first impressions were not great. The graphics are obviously busted and the view distance was very difficult to deal with. Since this is a walking simulator, it is among some of the worst out there. The walking speed is painfully slow which ruins the beauty of walking simulators that it was absolutely torturous being forced to walk slowly on the incredibly hideous landscape. Sure there are some beautiful moments in this game but this game reminds me too much of the infamous broken game called Jurassic Park: Trespasser back in year 1998. Their graphics and gameplay are surprisingly similar. There are plenty of glitches and invisible walls that add to this unpleasant experience. This certainly did not help me to enjoy Oracle.

The only positive is the narration. The narration and difficulties the main character deals with are somewhat solid but that is something to be expected in all first-person adventure games though.

Overall, Oracle is simply NOT a good game.

My favorite thing about this game is its certain kind of atmosphere. It is masterfully well done and gives off great feelings of dread, isolation, and fear all at once. That certainly sounds familiar to me. The feelings and the mood are the same in F.E.A.R., Obscuritas, Pineview Drive, and INFRA, hence they all share plenty of similarities. And keep in mind that all horror games have different kinds of atmosphere. The more you play horror games, the more you would be able to recognize the differences. Anyway, I highly recommend the experience of exploring and allowing its mood to take over.

Also, the use of scares and the creativity of documents (notes) are excellent. No stupid cheap jumpscares. Butthey are kind of like you saw in P.T. but quite different. Basically, the Survey is one of the best "low budget" Unity games ever made and released on Steam. Definitely worth the five bucks.

Wow. Not really what I expected. Yes, this game is very short. BUT very very unique.

It's about a father, a daughter, and things... Things... There is no way I can say anything about the story without spoiling anything. You have to try it yourself. It's something to experience first. Look for subtle and subliminal messages so to help connect the dots.

As a horror fanatic, I think this is a very solid horror game. Made me think deeply and really felt the atmosphere which is well done. There are some truly messed up stuff in this game. Like really messed up. At one point, something strange in the game triggered me to feel a strong knot in my stomach which was awesome. The sounds are very simple but executed well. Overall, solid game.

I normally like games that have great character development, great story, and superb atmosphere. The Wolf Among Us absolutely nailed all of these three subjects. It is one of the best games I have ever played.

The first major impression I had is the characters. The characters are incredibly unique and funny. When I started learning a lot about them, I felt like I was in a different world living with them. I did not want to leave. It was such a shame this game has an ending.

The story is absolutely brilliant and full of insane twists. It reminded me a lot of Twin Peaks, David Lynch movies, and other great murder mystery stories. They build a lot of twists, tension, and develop great atmosphere. Speaking of atmosphere, the art direction in this game is one of the best I have ever seen in gaming. The choice of colors and shading is unbelievable. This is eye candy for people who like taking screenshots.

I do not want to say anything what it is about. You got to try this game out and be surprised.

Brilliant game.

One of the worst games I have ever played.

The main character won't shut up and keep talking and talking. That completely kills the feeling of terror and immersion horror games usually give. And.... no subtitles! The store page says it has subtitles. I couldn't find it anywhere.

The gameplay is not good especially the level design. I ran into so many invisible walls and had to stop playing completely when I couldn't proceed to anywhere else because of an invisible wall. The controls are mediocre at best.

Just don't buy. Utter garbage.

When I started playing this game, the game looked similar to Pineview Drive. It turned out that Obscuritas was made by the same developers of Pineview Drive. Is it better or worse than Pineview Drive? Obscuritas is a lot better. Not a sequel but really good game.

I have always longed to play a game where I take an adventure through an abandoned carnival and amusement park, a haunted mansion, a madhouse, and an abandoned hospital all in one. Obscuritas is that adventure and is a love letter for all people who like abandoned amusement parks, hospitals, haunted mansions, mannequins, dolls and clowns. This game truly delivered the adventure well and I cannot be happier than that.

The graphics are very simple and gorgeous at the same time that nails the atmosphere well. The atmosphere and graphics reminded me of Pineview Drive obviously, F.E.A.R., Layers of Fear, and STALKER combined in one. It worked so well that it built a lot of suspense and terror that left me feeling scared without relying on cheap ass jumpscares that a lot of horror "games" use. The scary tension and atmosphere must be inspired by the works of David Lynch and Hitchcock who are very well known for creating horror and mind-bending movies.

The gameplay is much better than Pineview Drive especially with less keys and more adventuring through different places. You just look around for clues and objects to help you solve puzzles and advance through the places to provide you a part to be in the story. But that method was executed really well for this game.

One of the better horror games I have played in a long time. A word of tip: do not let that doll mess with you. ;)

Absolute garbage.

There are no video options. None. That makes ZERO sense. And no customizable controls and no mouse sensitivity options. The mouse sensitivity is flat out terrible.

The gameplay is very wonky and the enemies are horrid. Too many bugs and their pathways are too bugged and slow.

I cannot stand the sounds in this game because they are so bad. There is no story too.

I am a huge horror junkie and this game, in my book, is one of the worst horror games ever made. Ever.

Plain garbage. DO NOT BUY.

So far, Nuclear Throne is the greatest Rogue-Like game ever made.

The best thing about this game is the gameplay. Games are supposed to be extremely fun because of their gameplay not graphics. Nuclear Throne is a great example of that. Its gameplay is really smooth and easy to follow with, which the Binding of Isaac did not have. The controls are absolutely brilliant and made me feel like I am in complete control of my movements and weapons. The number of guns to choose is absolute freakin' insane! There are a lot of characters to choose from with different perks which provide a lot of insane replayability value. Oh and man... The explosions. The explosions are so satisfying.

This is one of the perfect examples of how Early Access games should be handled. The devs worked really hard and updated the game often and listened to the community. Huge props to the devs. Well done.

Overall, the game is a masterpiece for its gameplay and is absolutely addicting. I am a harsh reviewer and I decided to give this game a 9.5 out of 10 which will place this game at 6th place into my "Steam HALL of FAME" list where only 15 games have obtained at least a 9 or greater so far. I have been gaming on Steam for 7 years and that's a big deal. Buy this game. You won't be disappointed.
