A solid game overall.

- The nemesis system adds a nice element to the game play and its use allows you to control the scenario against the warchiefs if you don't want to rush in head on.
- The graphics holdup, the environments look good as well as the character animations, albeit it feels as if there is something missing in the overall look of it; its a bit too stark and barren.
- The story is okay, its a bit too light on immersion but the lore tidbits that you can pick up help that.
- The missions get very repetitive, you do end up doing the same ting over and over and the last two main missions do seem a bit rushed compared to the early main missions.
- The combat is responsive and quick; it should be it worked well in Batman Arkham Knight <<

Overall a good game and a solid 7.5/10 for me.

Early Access Review
While its an EA title I must say I'm pretty impressed at it so far;
- graphically its quite pretty though some of the camera cuts and movements could be tweaked.
- The combat is fairly fluid and responsive with the new changes
- Its a bit overpriced for what it is so far
- The translations really need some work; plus there are still some text that is untranslated
- The minigames and puzzles are a nice add on
- The variety of weapons and skills make the game more fun
- The DLC.....eesh I appreciate that they are trying to make the bank but it seems they are concentrating too much on DLC and not enough on updates (though the last one is a vast improvement to this).

Overall a "budget" version of some of the bigger HnS titles like Nioh, etc. 7.5/10

I love the fact that there is a 'story' behind each adventure and that its recognizeable characters and of course its free. Buttttttttttt its easy to see how this is a gacha game; even early on the grind is definitely real once you are past the first few adventures, and you can see why the micro-transaction banners float around.
I'm personally not a huge fan of them but objectively its probably one of the better ones. If you know up front that you are either going grind like you never have before or break down and purchase packs you should have a fine enough experience.

Two Point Hospital is a sim management game where you run various hospitals, building and expanding the hospitals and their staff from the ground up; adding rooms, educating staff, and researching issues it deal with new challenges that the game sends your way.

- there is a Wallace and Grommets vibe from the animation and the color pallet makes it easy to track activities and its easy on the eyes.
- the quirky music, the radio announcers and the melodious reception announcements made it easy to listen to, though it did get repetitive eventually
- Game mechanics are quick to learn, hospital management is fairly easy as well.
- It is not very challenging and the success/failure rates on each diagnosis and treatment feels very "rng'y", like you really don't have much influence on the outcome.
- The game gets grindy, repeating the same routines, just watching things play out and then tweaking little things here and there.

Overall not a bad time waster though the repetitiveness made me tune out after around the 10hr mark. As much as I want to hit those achievements I can bring myself to grind it out.

(placeholder review, I'll eleborate later) Absolutely loved this JRPG
- great character development
- great soundtrack
- loved the art style
- yes it was grindy as per jrpg standards but you didn't notice it because of all the different mechanics of the game
- storyline was surprisingly good.

If I was basing my review on how it stacks up against its successor status to Fallout NV then I would give The Outer Worlds a negative recommend; but I try to always review just based on the game itself (any Eprick exclusive titles would always get a negative review otherwise) not the franchise.
Having said that Outer Worlds is a game that I find doesn't know what direction it wants to go. Within minutes of getting into Edgewater I was getting a vibe of a Fallout style exploration, Borderlands humor and Bioshock aesthetic and I was so excited that this was going to be quite the journey. But as the game progressed the humor got repetitive and stale, the setting reminded me more of separate ideas all jammed together and the exploration was pointless since 90% of what you picked up you never used.
- The graphics are beautiful and character models were nicely done.
- The main quest is fairly compelling and the companion’s story-lines were well done for the most part (Felix and Ellie where meh). But most side quests feel like fetch quests that have no bearing on the story with some of them being reflected in the epilogue of the game.
- The AI of the enemy and companions is pretty bad and honestly the difficulty levels are rather easy.
- I did have issues with crashes as well but nothing too excessive.

Overall a decent title but not an amazing one 7/10

A fun and surprisingly enjoyable strategy based puzzle game that is easy to jump into. Train Valley has a nice aesthetic and the soundtrack is non-intrusive to your experience.
You can challenge yourself if you are trying to get all three stamps or have a more casual experience if you are just trying to get through the level without going bankrupt (ends the round).
Overall a nice experience 7/10

A well put together turned-based strategy game with RPG/Management elements. You led your caravan on an epic journey away from the evil that is plaguing your land.
- Your decisions on supplies, items and lvling all affect how events play out on your escape. So not only does combat help mold the narrative but so does the management of the caravan and its people.
- The art style was as beautiful as it was unique and the music and ambient sounds really helped elevate the overall experience.
- Combat was simply to learn yet had some depth to it to keep it interesting.
- The events where your MCs conversation choices impacted on positive or negative outcomes sometimes were frustrating since there was no indication on where the results would led the story until after they happened.
- Also a minor gripe but sometimes events would make your ability to gauge your supply requirements on the next leg of your journey difficult and you could run low even through no fault of your own.
- Compelling story with enough choices that it could branch out differently for multiple play-throughs

Overall, beautiful visuals and audio, compelling story, and multi-faceted gameplay that makes a good game. 8/10

I liked this version of Dark Soul the tactical rpg/management sim for the great atmosphere and aesthetic, it did a great job of conveying that oppressive feeling of impending doom throughout my play-through. The implementation of the town, skill, equipment and party management is well done with the choices you make having an impact on the survivability of the members of each dungeon group.....up to a point.

The biggest knock I have on Darkest Dungeon is the guaranteed negative impact a dungeon run will have, either within the run itself or on returning to the town and trying to "rest" something is going to negatively impact a character. I feel this rng doom-mechanic is a forced element of difficulty that the player endures in lieu of a game mechanic that makes it difficult. Most difficult games are solveable in either learning attack patterns/puzzle elements/enemy weaknesses etc, Darkest Dungeon uses rng to create the difficulty and imo that just creates an unavoidable level of frustration.

So having said all that I still would recommend Darkest Dungeon to anyone who can accept the fact you are going to fail to some extent and there is nothing you can do about it. 7/10
