RECENSIONE PER CASUAL GAMER OVER 30

SOLO PVE

TL DR:
Se sei come me ormai travolto dalla RL e hai poco tempo ovvero meno di 5/6 ore a settimana lascia stare.
Per tuti gli altri, il gioco è oggettivamente bello e soprattutto GRATIS. Ma consiglio una community di gioco.

COMPLETA:

L'ambientazione è davvero figa con elementi lovecraftiani e post apocalittici sicuramente non nuovi ma che incuriosiscono e spingono (soprattutto nelle prime ore) ad esplorare il vasto mondo a disposizione anche solo per scoprire quale nuove creature deformi appariranno da dietro l'angolo. Io mi sono letteralmente perso nell'ambientazione soprattutto all'inizio tanto che ahimé NON sono riuscito a finire la storia in tempo per ben 2 volte, ma ci arriviamo dopo.
Il gioco è ben fatto soprattutto per essere un free to play anche dal punto di vista tecnico e grafico, tutto sommato apparte qualche glitch ogni tanto che ci sta. L'elemento survival soprattutto nei server con difficolta' più alta è presente, niente di eccezionale bisogna mangiare bere e crearsi un minimo rifugio con 4 pareti e un letto, perfetto per me che odio il crafting, ma magari qualcuno potra' lamentare le scelte limitate nella personalizzazione della "base" soprattutto perché per sbloccare tutte le opzioni bisogna comunque arrivare al massimo livello.
La personalizzazione del personaggio è molto basica, la build é limitata dalle armi le quali vanno potenziate di pari passo con il livello su ben 4 aspetti diversi (sinceramente troppi) soprattutto la parte delle blueprint, ovvero le ricette, da recuperare farmando in giro.
Per chi veramente vorra' portare il suo equip al top potrebbero non bastare 150/200 ore di gioco considerando che le blueprint vengono fornite in maniera del tutto randomica anche da un minigioco presente in-game che funziona ovviamente con la risorsa più preziosa del gioco ottenibile solo farmando duro.
Per il pve comunque, non è assolutamente necessario avere una super build o le armi migliori per giocare la storia e nemmeno per i dungeon a livello più alto a patto che siate con altri giocatori.

Arriviamo al GROSSO PROBLEMA del gioco: LE STAGIONI.

La stagione dura circa 1 mese e mezzo, al termine di essa il personaggio viene letteralmente resettato e riportato a livello 1, vengono mantenute le risorse "spendibili" mentre le classiche risorse raccolte e anche l equip saranno riscattabili solo parzialmente quindi parte di esso andra' lasciato inevitabilmente indietro nella nostra isoletta privata inutile ai fini della storia/progressione ma che servirà solo da magazzino per le risorse accomulate durante le stagioni e che con tutta probabilita' rimarranno per sempre li.
Al massimo vi potete fare una casetta stra-figa privata, vabbè...

Purtroppo le stagioni non portano niente di nuovo, non cambia la trama della storia ne nulla (almeno per ora) cambia il pass ovviamente e pochissime altre cose tanto che ti sembrera' poco più di un update.
Nemmeno un mondo diverso o con qualche differenza, nada di nada.

Il problema enorme è che, per chi non è un gamer assiduo, risulta praticamente impossibile arrivare a livello 50 entro quelle 6 settimane a disposizione. Difatti anche se é possibile mantenere i progressi della storia è comunque necessario arrivare a livello 45-50 per finirla quindi riparte la solita corsa contro il tempo di farming assurdo che non lascia ai poveri 30 enni con una real life normale come il sottoscritto finire sto CA**O di gioco in PVE.
Cioé ti tolgono persino la base, anche se il server è vuoto soltanto se non entri per UNA SETTIMANA.UNA SETTIMANA!!!!
Ok, la recuperi al volo viene salvata ma devi pur sempre riposizionarla e perdere un minimo di tempo sperando di trovare una posizione idonea velocemente cosa NON SCONTATA.

Insomma, saro' alla vecchia, ma per me é un gioco che andrebbe esplorato e goduto con calma e funzionerebbe molto di più con un mondo eterno (alla diablo IV) dove il pg ti rimane per sempre se anche non riesci a finire la stagione riesci perlomeno a finire la storia.
Bello? Si, ma non può diventare un "lavoro" passatemi il termine.

For the extremely low price you are going to pay for it, it will be worth.

Ok, it's free, but it's broken.
Lot of free games made much better than this.

Halo Infinite has either 2 options:

-Destroy modern battle royales bringing back a classic fps with a good campaign and many multiplayer modes, becoming once again a legendary game with a mature community.
OR
-Join them, with battle royale modes or too much focus on battle pass and microtransactions, and be soon forgotten.

For the moment, looks like it is going the right way.

I'm updating the review after almost 1 year since purchasing the game.

The game has now a solid player base also online, with season rewards and rankings. Not the most famous strategy game but I'm quite sure you can find someone online to play with.
But, the learning curve is quite long and im playing mostly offline for that.

Gameplay is slow, do not expect fast paced rts like aoe or starcraft, especially mechs can get a solid 3 to 5 mins to go from a side to the other of a map, the problm is that units do not cap speed at the lowest one in the group so if you don't pay attention mechs will arrive when the party is already over for good. Yet, the several kind of units amnd mechs make every battle different and unique.

A thing I really don't like is that the game is very badly optimized. I do run a 5700xt and ryz 2600 still can't get more than 30 fps in most of crowded situations. Is not a game that gets much better at 60 fps but a minimum of 30 would be really the standard; changing res (1440p) or quality does not change much so I guess is really a matter of optimization.
This thing got slighty better with latest updates but still not enough.

In the shooting range I tossed 6 flashbangs and remained blind for a solid 2 mins.

100% would do it again

The game, once working, will be a ton of fun :D


PS. Right now it has extreme server problems

The game is awesome, 4 hrs into it and couldn't expect better.
Good rpg with realism, choiches, real medieval world.
Combat sistem kinda complex but after a while you get used to it.
Not much explainend into the game, you have to learn things by yourself (death may occur)


Forget about skyrim, think more of an oblivion without fantasy elements and with some realism mods. Add the true medieval world. Here you have Kingdom Come: Deliverance. A true (and unique) gem.


I Did FREAKING RUN IT WITH AN HD7950 1080 p on medium to high settings what are those people complaining about?
The game might be not optimized at his best, might not reach 100 FPS with a gtx1080 ti but who cares of you filthy rich noble people? This is a game for true blacksmith sons!!

I don't think the game is worth much more than a 5/6$ discount price, it's fun forn the first 3/4 matches, then it gets quite the same thing over and over. Some maps are more human sided while others are more shark sided. Small and fast sharks dies quickly so unless you're very good use big ones.
Better try it before buying, I decided after a free week end is not worth my time but I still can reccomend it it's not too bad after all, at least is something different from any other. Closest one are l4d or alien vs predator..70/100

A 60 mins game based on the half life universe with interesting ambientation. Basically the same as hl2 but with more zombies and a different gravity gun. Worth your time. Wish it was a little longer.

Just a 15 mins demo that won't leave you nothing much, just a lot of indecision. It's not enough to decide if you want to buy it or not.
What about the ps4 graphic on a pc? Pixelled stuff. Kinda annoying even if I'm not buying a game for the graphics is still annoying cuz is a 2017 game on next gen consoles worth >50 $ and not a indie one. And yes, I know there are 3 different ending but I realized I don't care much cuz still I would be undecided.
