After I boiled the kettle and poured the instant noodles, I started watching the opening cutscene. The game ended and the noodles were still soggy. This review is as short as the game.

This game is an absolute gem, a thrilling quest that deserves a solid +8yo rating. From start to finish, it captivates players with its remarkable features. It has everything - nice graphics, amazing soundtrack, characters, imagination and good sense of humour of the authors.

Humour plays a significant role in this adventure, with the authors injecting clever and amusing moments throughout. It's delightful to encounter unexpected laughs that add an extra layer of enjoyment to the gameplay. This lightheartedness balances perfectly with the intriguing story, which keeps players engaged The story is interesting and fun.

The quests, while not overly challenging, strike a satisfying balance between entertainment and brain-teasing. Most can be completed without too much difficulty, but there are a handful that present a delightful challenge, taking even the most experienced players around +5 minutes to crack. It's a testament to the game's design that it can engage both children and adults alike, allowing everyone to participate in the adventure.

Speaking of children, this game stands as the pinnacle of quests created specifically for younger players. In fact, it's the finest kids' quest I've encountered in the last 10 years. This glowing review is not just the opinion of a single individual but the collective sentiment of four individuals who found immense joy in playing the game. With unanimous agreement, they awarded it a perfect 10/10, solidifying its status as an unforgettable experience. Kol ha-kavod! Waiting for Lost in Play 2)

I'm sorry, but I have just realized that this game is pathetic parody of
the "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag".
The only difference is the place and time, as well as the fact that "Odyssey" has, maybe better story, but absolutely not spectacular and boring naval battles, and not that great athmosphere... you cannot even fish! FISH, Carl! I WANT TO CATCH THAT F*&*^ING WHALE!!!

Overall, graphics is good, but why do you need a graphic if all battles look simple and boring, fights on the ground or naval battles - it does not matter, it is equally boring...

Story - is good, it has some twists and you have the chance to decide if your hero accept the "Templar Order" or not (cool!). Also you can allow to Socrates to verbally penetrate your brain without vaseline (Double-Cool!).

Regular enemies are not hard, if you boosted your archer skills you gonna kill everyone in the whole camp in 5 minutes. Champions in the arena and bounty hunters (annoying bounty hunters) are much harder. Two-three bounty hunters may kill you on the ground, but if you gonna sit on some roof - you are golden.

Also there is no multiplayer! That is really sad.
I hope they will return the old combat mechanics, because the new one is not that cool and interesting (they can leave the continuous hitpoint bar, but return the old combat mechanics).

It is good game: 8/10, but not as good as Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

World is beautiful, graphics is great, BUT!

(I)
The main story and quests are completely boring. Some side quest are more interesting and have deep meaning, than main quest. In general, I can divide quests on four categories:
(1) Kill the guy in some stupid mask (usually it takes a couple minutes to find him and 5-10 seconds to kill him);
(2) Steal a horse (one headshot, horse-rider is dead and you have the horse);
(3) Save some idiot from the army camp (stealth-ish missions);
(4) Scroll puzzles. (Another way to explore the game world. It is nice, but not what you expect from AC)

(II)
ARMY CAMPS! Playing the game you may have the feeling that 50-70% of the whole map is army camp. Fortunately, enemies are stupid which is tipical for whole Assassin's Creed franchise. Cannot say that new fight system changed the gameplay. Now instead of the segmented health bar, all enemies have one, continious bar.
(III)
There is no strong character in the game, those whose story is normally told and interesting. The motivation of the enemies is simply ridiculous. The villains are just empty. Just imagine... You are presented to the next villain in the mask, which must be killed, and you like "well... ok, find, kill, sounds simple" AND IT IS ACTUALLY SIMPLE. Some videos after the murder can simply be skipped, because they do not bring anything new into the story. Moreover, a few ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in masks will be presented to you, but you will not kill them. It's just that at some point your wife tells you "I killed them."... Well... OK...

Overall, the game is simulation of horse riding across the map, parkour (that became less attractive) and hunting. And again THE MAIN QUEST IS THE WORST ONE I EVER PLAYED! I would say, Minecraft is more exciting, than the story of Bayek.
