If you havent heard about this game, you have been living under a rock.

Very in depth game that has a lot of things to do and learn, I would recommend it to anyone who likes these types of games (etc. Civ5). I recommend playing with friends. Also having someone teach you the game makes the learning experience more pleasant. There are also some tutorial videos on Youtube but I haven't personally watched them that much but I'm sure they are good.
You might also notice there is a lot and I mean a lot of dlc but if you got friends who has most of them he can host the game you will get to play with his DLCs. Most of the DLC are cosmetic only and add unit models or such. I would recommend getting all of the real content adding DLC which is often priced a little higher.
Modding is a big part of this game and you can find almost anything in the steamworkshop. If you are interested in modding this game, the game wiki has a lot of good modding guides and the game is made modding friendly.

Amazing Game! Has some problems with multiplayer games but when you get it working its worth it. There are tons of mods for it so basicly you shouldn't run out of content any time soon.
