Early Access Review
A simple premise turned into a challenging rhythm game. After you get used to following the rhythm it becomes easier but it's still quite entertaining to try to hunt for those perfect levels. Plus, with the night levels, you can listen to great mixes of the original songs while playing a more challenging version of them.

The soundtrack is superb, and the characters are relatable and loveable in their own right. As of writing this review there isn't a lot of content but the workshop compatibility makes it easy to find user made levels that can be just as good as the main game.

They should do more stuff like what they did with boss 2. Truly, I was smiling throughout the whole level. I know it's not that amazing but it is just such a beautiful level.

Great game, worth every penny. Looking forward to see more updates and collabs.

I went into this game with high hopes, as it seemed like a super fun game to play with two friends on a call or something. It was definitely an experience, but I wouldn't really call it fun.

Firstly, the main menu is just two buttons, "Play" and "Quit". They don't let you customize your settings before going into the actual game, which can prevent people with lower end computers from playing altogether (I know this isn't a very resource heavy game but there are computers and computers). The game plays nicely, if not a bit sloggy.

The tutorial's done and I want to play with my friends now. Getting in a party together is really difficult for no reason, the game sometimes just doesn't want you to play online so you join the party but in offline mode and you can't change it. After a lot of trial an error we managed to make it work, played a few levels. It was very mediocre. "Maybe we'll have fun after we play it for a while" we kept thinking, but after having to play the exact same level over and over to unlock more levels we gave up, and tried to refund the game. Of course, with all the technical problems, we spent more than two hours on the game, half of which was probably just trying to figure out how to make it work.

So now one of my friends is stuck with this game that feels raw and coded on Scratch. This is a great idea for a game, but the execution is terrible. Shouldn't have been pulled out of Early Access so early.

Recommendation? Maybe wait until the game is better. Also, buy on sale.
