A long time ago with a dev team far, far away I touted Phasmo as the game to play with friends. But this game here does everything Phasmo wishes it could--seeing how the Phasmo devs are out of touch jerks with brains the size of peanuts who decided to manufacture their game for the few players who only played Phasmo all day every day and ignored the casual players who made up the base game.

Lethal Company, on the other hand, has so much going for it! It's hilariously fun with amazingly timed comedy and terror moments. It's randomly generated, so it doesn't get as boring as Phasmo did--even if you know how to deal with every monster, that doesn't meant you're always in a situation to survive, and that's fun. And the modding access for this game is amazing, too. Honestly, there's no piece of this game that isn't fun, in my opinion. I even enjoy being the ship guy and guiding my team through to loot and avoiding monsters. You can't ask for much more of a single developer or an experience that you can pick up and put down whenever you have time.

Warzone 2 and DMZ market themselves as F2P. This is not the case. Not only are half the features locked under a pay mansion, you can't even unlock the 2nd insured slot that comes with doing the free missions without purchasing the entire game. Why, you ask. Because Blizzard, in their infinite wisdom, decided that MP content is necessary to enter Building 21, the final requirement for unlocking the 2nd insured slot. The problem? You can't download this DLC content, even if you've already gone into Building 21, unless you buy the MP portion of the game, which means buying the full game. All of this together means that what was once F2P to an extent, meaning free players could progress to the same level as paying players at the end of the day, is now blocked by a massive paywall for a -1/5 star game from a -10/5 star company. Choke on rice; slip in the shower.

It's fun with attentive devs. Sometimes you get annoyed at the game, but most of the time it's just fun.

Not in its current state. Poor devs with poor gameplay with poor optimization. This thing has been in Alpha for 9 years or something. It's fun if you make it fun yourself, but it lacks so freaking much for 9 years of development. I have no idea what they are doing

This game is practically garbage. The servers are iffy at best, the game runs like some kind of hardware beast and lags frequently, even on a decent computer, and there is no system to report obvious cheaters in game. It's free, and even then it's not worth the price to play it.

At one point during this game's lifetime, I gave it a good review. I supported it. I liked it. I had fun playing it. The developers seemed to enjoy making a game where the goal was to solve the puzzle of what the ghost was and get a little scared along the way. That is no longer the case.

Now, the developers have spent the last year pandering to a small community of try-hard players and streamers, ignoring vast majority community feedback, and generally implementing poor, ineffective, un-fun gameplay for anyone who doesn't want to spend hours playing each week but just wanted to have some fun on occasion.

I waited patiently, playing as much as I could, trying to learn things to teach my friends so we could all still have some fun until custom difficulty released so we could make the game fun for ourselves again while still enjoying the reward. But the developers ruined it again by pandering to a small community of players, designing a PvE game like it's ranked PvP, derailing their entire system because "it's easier than we thought to earn rewards." Which is not the point of the game.

This decision making is incredibly arbitrary and requires some stupidly brain dead thinking to implement in a game where the goal is to figure out a ghost, and the rewards, such as levels and money, only serve to make the game more re-playable. Therefore, one would think that higher rewards would lead to more replayability. And it did. Until they ruined it. And they continue to ruin it unthinkingly for no good reason, ignoring community feedback and refusing to learn. And I'm done. I won't play the game again, and if I could get a refund, I would.

If this is the only game you're going to play, by all means, what they've done will probably be just fine for you. But if you ever want a life or to play another game, don't get this game. Playing casual will only make the experience not worth it.

I don't think there is anything to dislike. Every last bit of hype around this game is fully deserved.
