Really enjoyed my time with Solasta. I liked the diverse ability to solve some of the problems. I'm keeping some of the additional campaigns/dlc in mind as something to play in the future after some time has passed.

My first experience with a From Software title. Thoroughly enjoying the experience. The initial learning curve is quite high and worth reading some starting character/trinket breakdowns to not feel lost but afterwards worth trying to explore and limit referring to online guides/maps. Keep reminding myself to just look around at the world since the draw distance is insane and the details you can spot often lead you to where content is. Playing in offline mode because I seriously couldn't take all of the message spam everywhere in the world.

Overall enjoyed the game. If like me you are short on time you will need to get used to "cheating yourself" as the dealer puts it and force quiting the game on an outcome that you aren't happy with. Once I learned that worked I managed to beat some of the harder challenges that were already brutal due to rng.

I would very much recommend this game with one very important caveat. Mainline the game. I found that the story and new challenges appearing is what mostly kept me interested in the game. If I had let myself start doing side-missions I would have burnt out and likely dropped the game. Happy I didn't as the story was for me an emotional roller-coaster worth the ride.

Really enjoyable game. I usually don't go for rogue likes and even then rarely stick with them long enough to actually complete a run. This is one that managed to keep me going and has me actually considering investing the time to get the true ending.

Really enjoyed my time with the game. The notes and the audio logs really pulled me into the story. Felt encouraged to try out various combat styles and cannot imagine getting through the game without it. Most of the puzzles were interesting and they weren't repetitive. Was pleasantly surprised when I noticed audio logs play without issue across load screens. Will gladly play Vaporum 2 if and when it comes out.

Enjoyed it initially but it got too grindy for me later. Worth picking up if you don't mind the grind.

Decided to finally pick this one up after having it sitting in my wishlist for some time. Having checked "how long to beat" (5-6 hours) and the reviews I decided that it looks like my cup of tea and I am happy to have been proven right.

I was looking for a game that would scratch the "Legend of Grimrock" or "Dungeon Master" itch while not being overly long. This game met those criteria. Yes the story is simple but it set my expectations correctly with its description and price point.

Pros:
* looks good
* combat happens within the game (some games take you to a separate battle scene)
* seems polished - didn't encounter any bugs (not finished yet but close to it)
* music matches the game nicely
* quality better than what I expected for the price

Cons:
* swapping spells in combat is annoying and feels like a needless obstruction that only takes away from the game and only saves UI space. All boils down to how quickly you click/drag.
* Would be nice if you could skip/shorten the sleep screen/load/animation

Generally happy with the game and look forward to future titles.

Enjoyed my time with it. Was nice to see the heroes I know from the books brought to life. Could easily recommend it.
