Pure cinema, especially towards the end of the campaign!

Very fun, short game.

Story:
A unique way of story-telling as the narrator is commenting on the experiences of the kid and the actions that made the world we play in the way it is. Although, the story is lacking some depth and you're dropped into it without much information.

Gameplay:
Very smooth, there are more than enough items, flasks, upgrades, special moves, etc... to play around with and even if you'd change them every chance you get, I doubt you'll be able to finish the game having tried all of them.
Combat is good and by addind tokens in the shrine, or running through the game on NG+, it fits for any kind of playstyle. Only thing to mention is the auto-targetting system with ranged weapon which sometimes doesn't do what you want to.

Graphics:
Great. Just great. Highly recommend giving this game a go even if it's just to have a look at the way it's been designed.

Only have a few hours into this game and can only be positive about it so far.

Great music, great gameplay and the artwork takes me back to when I was playing gameboy on the backseat of the car catching glimpses of the screen under the streetlights.

Only issues I have are about compatibility with my controller. Other than that, superb game.

Reap the whirlwind ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!

This short but sweet game about a chicken on steroids with an AK killing and mind controlling communist penguins makes for a pretty fun setting. The great gameplay supported by ridiculous art and voice work make this game definitely worth a try.

"Cuphead is such a fun and relaxing game" - nobody, ever.

Seriously did my head in too many times. BUT, if you struggle through it and don't go for the razors to slit your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wrists, this is thé most rewarding game I've played!

So yeah, overall this is a 10/10 game, just be ready for some seriously stressful moments.

I don't play any multiplayer games as, for me, this is the kind of game to relax with. Play it at your own pace, build your civilization and bring it to glory.

Performance-wise, I'm playing on the highest settings and most AI I played with was in total, mine included, 8 civilzations. Nothing negative to add really, maybe some performance "drops" towards the end as there was more and more to be processed, but overall a great game with great gameplay.

This game is the perfect blend of cinema and gaming.

Some reviews mention difficulty with controls but I didn't experience anything like that throughout the game. The game ran smoothly, the visuals are gorgeous with an incredible eye for detail and if you take your time to read some of the many notes/emails/posters/etc... that are put into the game, you'll be engaged in the story so much more.

Performance-wise, and I'm just mentioning this because a LOT of people found difficulty playing it, I didn't experience any issues. Maxed out settings, didn't check the FPS or FPS drops as I didn't or hardly have any.
