There are things that do not hit with the game currently. Notably the lack of difficulty (It is unknown to me whether or not I can even lose in the game right now), a noticeable deficiency in content, and some issues with the English localisation.

However, despite that, I want to say that I have so far been having a very positive time with the game and do not regret purchasing it. It is an extremely relaxing game to play (somewhat like Tiny Glade, or something of the such) and it provides a more casual way to play a traditional city-builder game, while imbuing it with the amazing hooks that you'd see from the Civilization franchise (one which I've been a fan of all my life); Namely: Being able to witness the fruit of your labour - your City (your Civilization, when referring to Civ) - grow and become a powerful entity which can operate with a degree of independence thanks to your help.

One of the larger factors, if not the largest factor, influencing my positive review is the fact that this game is in very early access. Despite that, it delivers an enjoyable product, and one which promises to, and seems to be heading in a direction which will implement even greater things to it and truly realise its full potential. Depending on what you want from a game, you may not like it currently, and that is a fair perspective to have, and something to consider if you are thinking about buying this game. However, if you like the draws aforementioned in this review and / or are patient enough to witness this game grow with its development, I can highly recommend it.
