I'm not writing this letter so that I can change Mr. Soul Chicken's mind but rather to help others with open minds understand that Mr. Chicken's personal attacks have earned him opprobrium, suspicion, resentment, and hatred. I'm sure that everyone reading this is already familiar with Mr. Chicken's morally questionable memoranda so I'll spare you the sordid details. Instead, I'll simply summarize with the comment that Mr. Chicken takes visible delight in replacing discourse and open dialogue with disdainful assertions and blatant ugliness. Let me rephrase that: He has certainly never given evidence of thinking extensively. Or at all, for that matter. Look at the facts. Analyze the arguments. Think about the motives of the people who are telling you that Mr. Soul Chicken possesses infinite wisdom. And have confidence in yourself. Remember, my only goal in writing this letter and others concerning Soul Chicken is to challenge rather than accommodate the mainstream's presuppositions.

It's 1973, times are tough for Jefferson Richards (Will Smith). He turns to Sage Johnson (Chris Tucker) to try and build a new life. Together, they aim to create a chain of restaurants to revitalise their lives. It's not all so simple though, SoulChicken Restaurants are threatened by "the man" (Tommy Lee Jones) who seeks to keep Richards and Johnson down where he thinks they belong. Just as all looks most bleak, they discover Captain John Sanders (Michael Caine). Sanders, back from three tours of duty in "Burger King" is ready to quit the game, however. It will take all Richards and Johnson have, in addition to a helping hand from Mayor Dolph Lundgren (Tobey Maguire) to convince Sanders to join. Things are even more confusing when they realise that Richards has one last child (The foetus what's inside that Kate Middleton's stomach)!
A directorial debut from Cher which pulls no punches. I recommend a viewing of "SoulChicken" with a dollop of mayonnaise.
