Mmmm, I like drawing cards

Played it a little, It's decent

Started playing this game close to it's release.
Keep in mind that the game's been out for over 6 years while reading this.

Pros:
1. It is a game where you can have some fun with your friends or even by yourself as long as you don't take the game too seriously.
2. Regardless of platform you will be able to play with your friends without noticing any differences. (Other than mobile which is completely separate)
3. The Art Team that works for this game is doing an amazing job and never disappoints, Whether it's the way Maps/Characters/Sound/Customizations look or sound, It has rarely disappointed, They're very consistent with their work.
4. The game supports most controllers.
5. The lore in the game is great and won't affect your gameplay if you don't know it

Cons:
1. There is a huge amount of things to catch up on if you're a new player related to mechanics and the way perks work, Since there are dozens of perks that do different things and affect the game in their own way.
2. There is a huge lack of settings that even tho they tried to fix, Hadn't quite worked, Graphics settings are entire presets, You can't customize the HUD.
3. Even tho there is cross platform play there isn't cross progression, And since the game is grindy you can't really start again and catch up fast.
4. The game's balancing has always been god awful, One of the reasons why this game's competitive scene is a joke.
5. Every single patch the devs somehow manage to break something, So with every game patch that fixes 2 bugs, 5 more bugs will take it's place.
6. If you want to have decent perks in the game you'll need to buy multiple DLCs or play an astronomical amount of time even after the devs tried making it less grindy. (Licensed DLCs that include characters from other movies/games can only be bought with real money which is understandable)
7. The DLCs add up to $250 and that's not including the ingame store where there's about double that in cosmetics and battle pass cosmetics.
8. Matchmaking is a laughing stock as it will take long to find a match and even then, Due to MMR you will find that if you play solo as survivor you'll get teammates that are obnoxiously blind or your game will be filled with Toxic players.
9. The community is in constant arguments whether it is basic balancing or the way perks should act which confuses the devs heavily when they try to fix things, Altho sometimes they don't listen to the community at all and make their own changes that they want.
10. The only sort of variety this game will give is perks/killers/survivors, Maps do not change anything mechanically and the only thing that changes are graphics.
11. At this point it feels like the devs are just pumping out content for the sake of the few players that buy everything so they can have a constant money stream.
