I was actually discussing the two forms the other day, and while both are pretty hyped in the community, I actually think that they are even more hype than people initially realize. Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego aren’t just forms, they are the absolute extension of who each fighter is, who they were and who they’ve become. When Goku first fought vegeta, Goku was coming off of being that carefree kid who was never challenged until fairly recently, Vegeta was a ruthless brute with an ego the size of a cheese kurd. Over his adult life, Goku learned new skills, he was always planning his methods of attack, always thinking about fighting... and his biggest challenge to master UI. Vegeta started as a brute, but learned to be a team player, learned to love his family and build bonds... his biggest challenge with UE is holding off that love that he gained so that he can tap back into who he used to be. (during that first fight, Goku often had a white aura and Vegeta often had purple)

I was there Sunday. I've waited my entire life, literally, for this moment. I cried my eyes out when the clock hit zero and the shpib lit up. It still feels unreal. Loser no more, we are the new era of Shpee
