Really great that there's an easily available tool for modding and playing mods for Terraria, since the game has so much modding potential.

Devs say they are going to stop updating it, release a big update and say "Thanks, goodbye".
Then a year later they're like "hey, want some more updates? here's one for you!"
Repeat for like 5 years

Game was great until Kakao took over and changed the payment plan.
The idea that you could buy the game once and keep playing it free with cosmetic microtransactions was great, in my opinion. The new plan that is a $9.99/month subscription is pure ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Why play Unchained for $9.99 when you can just as well play the regular free pay-to-win version...

When AAU was about to be released, the then owners stated that it would be buy once, play free forever. It woke some controversy when they added paid DLC (optional btw), which technically went against that promise. This however, is just lining up your entire community and kicking them in the balls (or equivalent) over and over again. Absolutely horrible decision!

EDIT: Steam says 35 hours, but played mainly using the standalone launcher because it was easier and less likely to throw errors. Real numbers are around 600-700 hours.

Not perfect by any means, but by far the best alternative. Beats all the online tabs for instruments out there to puddles and then proceeds to use that puddle as hairgel to be able to rock harder

Going to try and stay objective here, but this is my favourite Online multiplayer pc game of all time.

Path of Exile, paradise on a pc to some, a nightmare to others. Whether you're a casual gamer playing once a month on your softcore character or a hardcore gamer spending thousands of hours on the game and always stay in the top 10 in the challenge leagues, this could definitely be something for you.

Pros
+ Never-ending gameplay and progression
+ Active community
+ Devs actually listen and talk to the community
+ 1300+ Passive skills and around 70ish active skills, and about 40 or so support gems
+ Item crafiting that is simple enough to use to new people, and also advanced enough for the veterans to spend 100s of hours on getting as close as possible to a perfect item
+ Not "pay2win"
+ MTX

Cons
- Passive skill tree can spook newer players with it's sheer size
- Can get boring if playing solo in the permanent standard and hardcore leagues
- Crafting system can take time to learn/get used to
- Can pay to increase stash size which can be a huge advantage compared to players who don't/can't pay

I've spent over 1600 hours on this game since it got its steam release, and almost as many from the closed beta until then. Still can't get enough, especially when playing with friends. The hardcore experience in a party with friends can really deepen your bond and you really feel sorry for each other when one of you die and has to re-roll.

Greatly recommend to at least try this game on for a few hours, especially now from next Friday when the new Ascendancy expansion is released!
