A fun but flawed throwback to Wonder Boy. Movement mechanics are fantastic, however limiting them to a resource hurts room navigation. Some bosses are just an exercise in frustration.

The game's controls don't work by default, press escape on your keyboard to open an emulator menu that will allow you to enable the game to work properly. The game itself is okay, but the emulator it was packaged with isn't, and the small tweaks that could have been applied to fix it before launch, just highlights how lazy this whole thing is.

An adventure game that primarily meanders around mazes, with seemingly little motivation or direction. The deliberate combat works well, but bad delay in inputs hurts the experience.

Stylish FPS, with a unique tone and pacing, from a bygone era where developers experimented with ideas. It's a bit too strict with it's linearity at times, which it does deviate from in some of its highlights, the guns are functional but not too wild, and it features a grappling hook that is underutilised.

Engrossing adventure, set in a dark and grimy fantasy world, with excellent organic storytelling. If this game hooks you, you'll be hooked for a good long while. I'm 40 hours in and still in the first chapter and feel like there's still a lot I need to see before moving on./

This expansion fixes and improves everything the main game did. It's faster, more fluid gameplay is an absolute treat, and I hope the dev keeps it up.
