When I play new games I try to avoid tutorials and youtube videos so I can figure out game mechanics and such on my own and this game, while doable, did take a little longer but definitely worth it towards understanding the game concept. You start out by plotting a base, farming, recruiting new colonist, and expanding by researching. I do recommend heavily focusing on farming and don't underestimate how much food you will need for new colonists. v0.7 is coming out soon which is suppose to be the biggest update since release which is nice but as long as the developers continue developing then this will turn into a very nice little relax-put on music- and chill game.

Pros:
-Basic but pleasant/appealing graphics.
-Satisfying progression of automation of your 'empire'
-Wide variety of biomes and places to establish a base

Cons:
-Little enemy diversity (the threat of monsters at this point in development is nonexistent)
-Sometimes confusing on research, science, etc.
-Very basic animations for NPCs

Simply one of the best graphically, internally, games ive ever played. And also the amount of bugs in this game is practically zero!
